The fish was cooked perfectly and even retained some crispiness on the skin despite being served with a sauce. The meat was flaky and the confit tomatoes made for a nice acidic bite. Definitely light yet hearty meal. We will definitely be back to try more mains and sides!
Generous portion of meat, and each slice was meat heaven! It really melts in your mouth and is worth every single calorie. It can get quite jelak so I'm glad we got this and the fish! What I really appreciate is that they served both mains together, which is a small detail that often goes unnoticed. Great service!
Nice thick slices of collar atop a bed of mashed potato. Meat was juicy and tender, sauce was not bad. Had it on burpple's 1-for-1 offer.
Fried chicken was crisp and tender, seasoning is alright but nothing mind-blowing. Had this with burpple's 1-for-1 offer!
HIGHLIGHT OF OUR NIGHT. This unassuming cauliflower seemed to be steamed perfectly and had a good char on the outside. What made it outstanding was the acidic, umami and slightly sweet sauce it came soaked in. It was amazing!! It had miso, leek and furikake in it and we wanted to drizzle it on everything we could lay out hands on!
The bread was served warm and soft, easily torn into smaller pieces to be dipped into the hummus. There was a generous serving of hummus given and we scraped up every last bit of it!
A cross between cold soba and ramen (I believe?), this appetizer ($15) delivers a myriad of flavours in an unassuming clear truffle infused broth that the noodles were soaked in. Personally, I'm not a fan of sashimi but I slurped this up at double speed! There was also a generous serving of salmon, crabmeat, ikura and tobiko! Definitely my highlight for the night! Must try!
Inspired by MacDonald's burger, this dish ($26) elevates the fast food burger to a new level by combining beef patty with a crisp hashbrown. The party was more like a slab of tender meat rather than minced, and draped with a sauce that is both savoury and sweet. Definitely worth a try and I got it with burpples one for one deals!
Amazing dish! One look at the colour of the broth and you can tell it is packed with tonnes of flavour 😂 it was sweet, savoury and sour all rolled into one! The noodles also absorbed the broth and the texture of the noodles were 👌 Jump straight for the normal sized bowl ($6.90)! We got one pork and one beef noodles and they were generous with the slices of meat and meat balls that came along with it. Also had the moobing (pork skewers) which were mindblowingly tender and the fat just melts away in your mouth. The prawn cakes ($10.50) were also super fresh and fried well!
This skinny pizza had a crisp base, which may have been slightly overcooked, but I'm not complaining. I loved the crispness and crunch it brought in the texture and the mushrooms and truffle is just 👌 amazing. Got this using eatigo's discount so I think it was a steal!
Beef was cooked nicely and bread was toasted (which is always a nice touch). The bacon and onion jam were also good accompanying flavours to the meat. Overall a good satisfying burger. We got it 50% with eatigo so it was pretty worth it!
This pasta ($14.90) was tossed with a truffle sauce and generous portions of beef. The sauce was creamy and rich, and coats each strand of pasta with its truffle aroma. The beef was also tender and bite sized so you could have one with every spoonful of pasta. Amazing dish!
