I don't really take beef, my partner had this and love it. The meat chunks were tender and I love the toast! The texture was really good. Their second recommended dish ($15.90) apart from my duck pancake :)
I swear this is the only slice of rainbow cake($7.50) I'll lay my hands on!!! I'm not a fan of rainbow cakes, even though they are pretty to look at, they are purely made out of artificial dyes which can be a major turnoff for me. On the contrary, this cake is made from real fruit juice which means that every layer is burst with flavors! Superbly moist and the buttercream is not gelat at all leaves you wanting for more. Pink: strawberry orange: orange, yellow: lemon blue: blueberry. Can't remember the other flavors but it's a must try!!!
Went ahead with the staff's recommendation and oh boy, the cake was delicious! Tasted very much like ferrero rocher. The chocolate hazelnut crunch cake ($8.50/slice) was worth the try, love the buttercream especially.
Always a fan of Italian food, I believe the ambience at the esplanade's outlet is better since they have a rooftop bar. for those who don't drink, the newly open branch at orchard gateway will be good. Nice interior and pretty quiet since I was there on a Monday evening. Ordered the morning after pizza ($18 for 9inches) soft egg in the centre with bacon, spinach and tomato paste. Very disappointed as it does not taste as good as it looks. The thin crust was rather tough and soggy, not worth trying. The service was however worth a shoutout. Very attentive.
The fish were thickly sliced and they were very fresh.
Worth the try and value for money. Do take note of their operating hours as they are closed in the afternoon. Only open for lunch and dinner hours.
I've always thought that their truffle fries are overly hyped up. Ps cafe has always been my favorite place for cakes and tea. But now I'm officially a fan of their fries! These are no ordinary shoestring fries, love the texture and generously infused with truffle oil. It's a must try albeit pricier, the serving was really huge!
