Thanks to the brat @stormscape for bringing me here! Here's yet another lunch option for all you people working in this area! It's a good place to be at if you want to destress by looking at hot guys, cause I thought the "German oppa" behind the counter was quite 😍!
chef Anthony uses more eco responsible local barn raised eggs, which makes more sense than air shipping free range eggs from across the pacific ocean. #SETHEATS
Music is dope, the food is even better. The korean minced rib steak & joo bossam is 😍 And makgeolli spam #joobarsg
2 of my greatest love - Coffee & Waffles.
My tastebuds were quick to applaud the fantastic way all the flavours came together in this brunch item. In particular, I really liked the addition of spinach to the scrambled eggs. And that rich, creamy house-made dill aioli was swoon-worthy.
Meat lovers will delight in the 35-day dry aged sirloin steak of perfect doneness, accompanied by chicken liver crostini, deep fried sage and (it’s back to Italy) with a sprinkle of Italian truffles. We’ve got our heart set on the lobster al forno, an Italian classic of absolutely fresh and succulent Boston lobster—its firm flesh crunching between our teeth like music to the ears, served alongside a piquantly robust handmade spaghetti pomodoro. What we truly love about the pastas here—spot on al dente, every single time. Full review of Jamie's Italian Valentine's Day menu on GourmetAdventures.net.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Hokkien mee here - slippery noodles slicked in flavourful stock and studded with prawns, squid and crispy bits of lard plus a dollop of chilli to seal the deal ($4 for small). The carrot cake was forgettable though; I recommend giving it a miss.
Truffle tonkatsu with multigrain rice set. Could smell the truffle before the set reached my table but there was barely any truffle taste when I ate it though. At least the pork was really tender. Love the multigrain rice with beans inside! With free flow lettuce and free green tea for $17.00(after gst & tax), this was really worth it!
The smell is quite strong but the taste is really good! Do try it if you are nearby! It's at pomo!
This rich, fudgy, chocolate layer with snickers candy bar-like chunks and thick peanut butter swirl was the winner among the three desserts we had, after completing a meal of 8 large pizza slices, 12 buffalo wings, 2 pastas and 1 bucket of truffle fries. Our forefathers would be so proud of us, 3 girls and 1 boy.
Which will you pick? Both are good but 'orh nee' for me 🙋
