Always spoiled by friends. My gelato cravings have been satisfied ✔️
On the left is nutella, thick and sinfully chocolatey and hazelnuty. And on the right we have pistachio, full of nutty aroma and flavour 😋 @dapaolosg @chocolatmilano
I love having brunch food for dinner 😂 Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, pea sprouts, salsa, guacamole on brioche ♥️ Get 20% off all mains and drinks if you spend in the same receipt.
Onion bagel, scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese.

Today I finally visited Two Men Bagel House (Tanjong Pagar) (“TMBH”). They open at or just after 9am on weekends and 8am on weekdays. Decided to head on down to grab breakfast before my Saturday meeting at work. Verdict: There are many bagel options and different bagel sandwich combinations. I got a breakfast bagel, the bacon was absolutely glorious and juicy and fresh off the stove. I still really miss the bagels at Grain Traders though, the scrambled egg quantity was a lot more, much creamier and fluffier and less dry. Plus it was packed with alfafa sprouts which I loved. Still really sad they stop serving bagels at @graintraders. But do check out TMBH which bakes their bagels fresh in-house. The bagel fillings are definitely more meaty.
If you always get lost in Tanjong Pagar like me and find maps way too confusing and not specific enough, here are some easy directions on how to get to TMBH:
1. Take the train to Tanjong Pagar MRT. Take Exit C.
2. Walk down Anson Road towards International Plaza and past it until you hit Enggor Street. Turn right into Enggor Street and walk down the right side of the road. You’ll see a big “12 Enggor Street” on the pavement.
3. Look out for The Public Izakaya at Icon Village shopping mall. Go through the sliding doors to the left of The Public Izakaya.
4. TMBH is inside Icon Village, opposite Cold Storage.

Had pretty high hopes for this place which I recently read about. Pickleville is on the fourth floor of Crown at Robinson (140 Robinson Road). Their exciting concept is centred on various pickled vegetables, grain bowls and build your own bowls (BYOB).
Ambience: The cafe is really pretty with high ceilings, it does gets a little noisy and crowded during lunchtime.
Service: Food took some time to arrive but at least it was warm.
Price: I think it’s expensive to BYOB, the non-BYOB bowls are much more value for money.
Food quality: Found the food really bland and extremely dry. The cafe also doesn’t serve tap water. For a better BYOB meal, I’ld recommend (1) @graintraders which has more variety and more flavour, or (2) @wafuken which does really good, juicy, tender sous vide chicken and almost the same kind of food but better quality and at more wallet friendly prices.

Delicious savoury churros with lots of snowy flakes of parmesan! Never had savoury churros before. These were quite cheesy and yummy, and quite similar in taste and texture to the gnocchi.
Wow, I was really blown away by the food selection on the menu at 1880, a members’ club in Robertson Quay. The celeriac was so delicious, like a baked white carrot (or daikon). The gnocchi was soft and slightly doughy and chewy with lots of potato flavour. They were very generous with the hazelnuts, which added a sweet and unusual chocolateyness to the meal. The kale was also very yummy and fresh! The portion wasn’t filling but the food was good, definitely recommend checking out this members’ club.
A delicious combination of sweet salmon sashimi, savoury ikura, and addictive sushi rice topped with toasted sesame seeds. Add lots of wasabi and shoyu for an extra kick and maximum flavour. Down some hot green tea to cleanse the palate and prep your mouth for the next sinful spoonful!
Saw someone recommend this customised @starbuckssg drink on @burpple so I had to give it a try myself 😋 Like the original reviewer, I’ld suggest asking for the drink to be less sweet with extra chai tea concentrate.
Hidden in the basement of Takashimaya is this gelato place called Venchi. The gelato is made here in Singapore at their Paragon outlet using ingredients air flown from Italy. This is definitely my favourite gelato place, it’s definitely worth checking it out if you’re a fan of all things hazelnut!
If you haven’t tried Marche’s deliciously fresh salmon which is pan fried on the spot when you order, you’re definitely missing out. Highly recommend this. Goes well with pepper, mustard, chilli, etc! PS. Check out that crispy salmon skin 😍
