This hidden gem is located at icon village, and it’s a branch from a soba shop in Tokyo. The broth is light and flavourful, and doesn’t leave the tangy taste of msg after drinking - it doesn’t have any! Noodles are very smooth. I loved the light flavours.

Matcha latte - strong matcha taste greets you with each sip, then the sweetness settles in on your tongue like the comfort of home. Poached eggs, besides being aesthetically perfect, were on point with runny yolks which still held in shape. Salad dressing is really good - tasted like soy sauce, mirin and some garlic? Enjoyable brunch.

Please do yourself a favour and go down to have them. Not gonna bother describing because I’ll definitely cause it to lose its charm through words.

flavourful soup which was light, sweet and aromatic. Coupled with beef cubes which melt in your mouth and the smooth noodles. Really really awesome.

Had nasi lemak at coconut club with Coconut Rice, Chicken Leg, Ikan Bilis, Peanuts, Cucumber, Fried Egg and Sambal ($12.8). Really enjoyed the chicken leg which is marinated nicely, it is very juicy and tender while the skin is still crispy.

Still can't believe Well Dressed Salad Bar is a vegetarian cafe cos all their options are so delicious

Especially these grain bowls—The Cilantro Lime Rice Pulled Jackfruit Hangry Jack Burrito Bowl suits those who like a lighter flavour with the rice being a little citrusy. And the Olive Rice Buddha Bowl is more for those who prefer a savoury comfort dish. I still can't pick which is my favourite. >.<

The broth was a little too sweet and lacked the meaty depth and complexity I look for in a bun bo hue, but the portion was big with a fair amount of meat and we stilled enjoyed it anyway.

Taste: 3/5

Boneless, fried and generously coated with a suspiciously addictive condensed milk based powder, it's perfect for people that have a sweet savory palate. The other dishes are a bit of a hit miss but this dish is good enough to keep the place packed.

Wafuken is one of the many stalls located in the sprawling food court at Asia Square, but is easily spotted with its long, snaking queue at lunch. Thankfully, orders move along quickly, kudos to their well-trained and efficient team. Start your salad selection with the most important ingredient — the protein! There are six to choose from (from $4), including Flank Steak ($7 half portion), Wagyu Rump ($20 half steak) and the perfectly sous vide Salmon ($10). It's nice to know that Wafuken offers half portions for some of the proteins — perfect for smaller eaters. If you're keeping to your #eatclean routine, skip the carbs ($2 each) and opt for the sides instead — it's where you'll find your greens. We enjoyed the Wafu Salad ($2), Grilled Asparagus ($2.50) and the Spicy Bean Sprouts ($1.50) best. The salads are generally tasty on their own, but if you need more flavour, opt for the garlic soy or the ponzu pink peppercorn sauce.
Avg Price: $15 per person

Thick stack of roasted peppers atop some sourdough, with The occasional haloumi block stopping by to say hello. It was pretty good but not really memorable, and fries were fit for two. The ambience gets my vote here!
