The Big Prawn Hor Fun (from $16) is what draws diners time and again to this Chinatown zi char stalwart. Redolent with wok hei, the winning dish sees slippery rice noodles bathed in an eggy, slightly spicy sauce that is full on flavour, and the prawns are as advertised β large and succulent. If it's available, don't hesitate to snap up the Claypot Yong Tau Foo ($14), which is often sold out. Other tasty eats include the Poached Chinese Spinach with Assorted Egg (from $11) and Homemade Tofu with Minced Pork ($10) β both are consistently good options that should sit well with both young and old. Call ahead to reserve a table, so you donβt end up crowding the sidewalk while queuing for seats.
Avg price: $15 per person
Bomb Prata is basically sugar inside a Prata. When they cook it, the sugar melts and it becomes liquid, so you won't bite on the sugar bits. It's really sweet, so for those who love sweet food, you'll love this Prata. Enaq have really really good Prata imo, crispy exterior and soft interior. Rating: 4.5/5!

Pork lard oil, LOTS of it, is used to fry this plate of "wok hei"-perfumed Penang Char Koay Teow. Seriously, how can other cooking oils even begin to compare?! Like duh π
Was initially rather confused on what to order looking at the menu, but by checking out @Burpple newest feature 'you should order' section - which shows their Maze Soba Nagoya Style ($12.80) & Mazesoba All Topping ($15.80) which was what we instantly went for!
Definitely preferred the formal with its super flavourful noodles mixed with the spicy minced pork (feels like a really good Japanese version of BCM) made smoother with that perfect soft boiled egg - it's really lip-smacking yummy π For big eaters (like me) upsize your noodles 1.5 times at no extra charge! Walked away from Kajiken with satisfied smile and extra round belly π
Followed burpple's recommendation and came here for Italian food and also to celebrate my friend's b'day. The risotto along with the curry gravy is fantastic but we thought the prawn could be better. π
Warning: might induce tears of joy. This happiness meal for 2 is extremely worth it, if you and your dining partners take delight in stuffing yourselves. Essentially a plate that allows you to try about 60% the menu, this can definitely be shared among 3. Here's what you'll get: Mama Coleslow, Som Tum, Umami Corn, Nugget Talay, Fried Chicken, BBQ Chicken, Sticky Rice, and a dessert assortment. Special mention to the umami corn, which is barbecued corn slathered with sriracha mayo and then rolled in shrimp floss - the key to taking grilled corn to another level. Couldn't get enough of this. Both the fried chicken and barbecued chicken were exceedingly succulent, moist, and tender. Be sure to bathe your BBQ chicken in the chilli tamarind sauce for total satisfaction.
Hailing from Korea, Churro 101 is the latest churro specialty store to hit our shores. The dough is made fresh in-house daily while the crisp and light churros are made-to-order. You can choose to enjoy your churro while seated, or grab some to go. There is a variety of unique flavours and fillings to choose from, such as the thick and sweet Milk Custard ($4.50), or Cream Cheese ($4.70) for the sweet toothed. For something lighter, the chocolate-filled churro ($4.50) is not too sweet yet decadent enough. Purists can opt for the Cinnamon Churro ($3.50), which comes dusted with cinnamon and sugar. Better than boyfriend as advertised? You decide!
18 dollar for kazan curry here. Its a mixture of rice and noodles. Portion is good enough for 2 people. Pork is chewy and marbled. However the space here is quite crammed.
