Apparently Kampachi is having higher price compare to those Japanese shop however I believe it worth for something. Sukiyaki with the choices of Australian Beef (RM87) or Australian Wagyu (RM245), served with sliced beef and vegetables in sukiyaki sauces. I'm quite convinced with the price as the beef is fresh. You can tell when you start eating that. Can say everything is good, including service speed and attitude of service crew. Will be back again soon.
No one can predict the future, nevertheless, enjoy the moment might be the right thing to do. So long, 2017.

LanZhou is the capital city of Northwest China whereby it is full of large population of Muslims. Same with this, they are highlighting halal shaved noodles(刀削麵)and to be honest this is quite worth a try if you are around Ampang Park. It's nestled in Megan Avenue 1, which facing the main road and it is easily to be seen. Their fried shaved noodles (RM13) is surprisingly good. Was thought their noodles might be too thick but it's not. Well cooked beef and some green peppers had makes this dish perfectly serve. It's always full during office break within 12pm - 2pm on weekdays. Make sure you come earlier for more seats.
It's consider newly opened since 2017, a cafe that highlighting gyoza and coffee. With hipster interior design that located at Gim Shew Building, Johor Bharu, it's seems like quite well known among youngsters from the town. Chicken rice bowl (炸雞飯)(RM17) with just nice portion, makes me feel like want to have second bowl of it. Their menu doesn't have much choices of food, but couldn't deny that you won't be disappointed with their quality of food. Friendly staff and comfortable interior, will definitely come back again for this.
The first outlet was at Puchong while this is the new outlet that opened at OUG plaza. The not-so-new outlet is kinda wipe out my good impression to this when I reach here as their chopsticks are full with stains. Probably because of their chopsticks are in white colour that's why it is easy to be seen but still, I cannot. For the food wise, their sets are just nice for 2-3 pax. Was ordered set A (RM40) with choices of wintermelon based or spicy base, then vegetables, quins egg, mushrooms, some chicken and porks, prawns, fish and mihun. Those basic things you can get from ordinary steamboat outlet. We added some extras like pork (RM4.90), meat dumpling (RM4.50), needle mushroom (RM3.00), white radish (RM2.90), and of course, foo chok (RM3.00). Overall is good. Not really special to me but for the first timer I think it is worth for trying this. It's always full after 7pm. Open space parking is just next to it.
The cafe had been move to Seri Gembira Avenue for some time, still I think the cafe is way prettier than it used to be. And the most important thing is, their quality of food is still very convincing. Fuwa-Fuwa Pancake is still as fluffy as it used to be. With the honey it served with, imagine it just melt in your mouth while it still warm. Make sure you don't spend too much time on snapping photo and enjoy it while it's warm.
Pahit had took over Barlai's old places at Sekeping Sin Chew Kee, strategic spot that just behind of the famous VCR cafe. A gin specialist with rustic guesthouse interior design that attracts a lot of backpackers nearby to stop by have their moment. For those beginners maybe it's better for you to try out their Fruit Gin & Tonic. You may ask for the bartender for new entries. Minimum spending RM40.
A not so hidden cafe that nestled in Happy Mansion under flats. You don't have to worry with the parking problems as there are plenty of them in front of the cafe. Kam Heong Chicken Sandwich (RM22), not really a kam heong fans but can't denied their sauce is quite authentic. Worth to try if you never makan before. Achar Sandwich (RM20), was get attracted because of comments from others when they emphasize 'plenty of onions' ! And it is good as what people told. It might not looking good as what it shows but I bet you should try it if you love onions 👌🏼 their cold brew can be either with milk and sugar or just black. In frame: Cold Brew with milk and sugar. Love the texture of the cold brew but still prefer the black one.
Haruka Bakery had been moved from T6 Sungai Buloh to Kota Damansara. They are serving pastries, breads, egg tarts, cakes and even coffee ! More like a Deli cafes to me instead of a bakery. Their aims is to serve pastries with the fresh ingredients. Haruka Mochi (Mango flavour) is using the fresh sweet mango in season with imported rice flour as ingredients before serving. Compare with other common mochi, you'll find it surprise with your first bite. It's not really that sticky but in texture wise, it's more like shrimp dumplings but with the fresh mango in it, it does make it to a good one ! I bet you can tell when they are using fresh ingredients ! Maybe you'll worry about how sweet it can be but it's not just sweet like putting too much of sugar. From the first bite you can actually thought you are eating fresh mango instead !
Sundubu Jjigae, or known as korean spicy soft tofu stew, made with freshly curdled soft tofu and vegetables. Was ordered this in a set, with three side course and rice, with only RM16.90. Was quite cheap to me as the portion is big, plus the side dishes are able to refill for free, just like the other Korean restaurant. It's not really that spicy for the normal tofu stew, spicy level is 2 out of 5.
A not so expensive korean restaurant that located at Pavilion Elite 8th floor, next to Nam Heong. It might be a little quiet, but their food is good, as most importantly, their price is quite affordable. Kimbab (RM6.40) with 5pcs. As usual, their kimbab is big and when you bite half way, the rest might just separated from the main pieces. But it is good tho, not that oily, plus the sesame have make it nice and tasty, good for a pre-lunch.
