Cafes In Sri Petaling
The first outlet was at Puchong while this is the new outlet that opened at OUG plaza. The not-so-new outlet is kinda wipe out my good impression to this when I reach here as their chopsticks are full with stains. Probably because of their chopsticks are in white colour that's why it is easy to be seen but still, I cannot. For the food wise, their sets are just nice for 2-3 pax. Was ordered set A (RM40) with choices of wintermelon based or spicy base, then vegetables, quins egg, mushrooms, some chicken and porks, prawns, fish and mihun. Those basic things you can get from ordinary steamboat outlet. We added some extras like pork (RM4.90), meat dumpling (RM4.50), needle mushroom (RM3.00), white radish (RM2.90), and of course, foo chok (RM3.00). Overall is good. Not really special to me but for the first timer I think it is worth for trying this. It's always full after 7pm. Open space parking is just next to it.
The cafe had been move to Seri Gembira Avenue for some time, still I think the cafe is way prettier than it used to be. And the most important thing is, their quality of food is still very convincing. Fuwa-Fuwa Pancake is still as fluffy as it used to be. With the honey it served with, imagine it just melt in your mouth while it still warm. Make sure you don't spend too much time on snapping photo and enjoy it while it's warm.
Was amazed when saw their Instagram featuring their fuwa fuwa soufflé pancake, photogenic yet fluffy look. So decided to give it a try and it is not disappointed at all. Fuwa-Fuwa Pancake with berries (RM22), soufflé pancake served with homemade cream, blueberries and strawberries. Their pancake is filled with strong flavours of eggs, thick but it melts in mouth within seconds. They also serve Fuwa- Fuwa Pancake with only their homemade cream (RM17). Preferable to have it while it's still warm. Love it.
Surely ice cream as breakfast sounds like good idea but in frame named as Breakfast (RM12). One of the top seller in Softsrve. It is vanilla ice cream with caramelized cereal with strawberry. Simple yet nice. However the pricing is quite expensive compare with other similar cafe. The service crew is explaining to us patiently as this is my first visit. The place is not crowded during my visit on weekdays night.
The worst cafehop experience I ever had in this shop. In frame: Aglio Olio Classic (Meat-free)(RM9.90) and Laboratory Coffee (RM18.90). Nothing much to talk about aglio olio, normal pasta, a bit oily. Laboratory coffee is not my kind of coffee, too sweet though it can be customize based on our own preference. The cafe is kinda dark, not really instagrammer friendly. However, the service staff is not friendly and place our order wrongly. Kinda disappointing with the cafe.
If you are looking churros around the city, this is the good place for you to have some good churros. Other than that, their panini is great too. I've ordered Cheesy Hammer panini, Rm17. For those cheese lover out there, this is the meal that you never want to miss it. Coffee is good. RM11 for hot cappuccino, standard price for cafes. Environment is great, good for those who prefer a quiet environment. The service staff is nice too. Will definitely revisit again.
