While my friend was excitedly raving over the White Chrysanthemum and Spiced Pear flavor, i took a mouthful and went, "Orh 'ju hua' ice cream lor".

But the freshly made Thyme Cone left an impression with its crispy crust and subtle thyme fragrance.

As much as I love garlic, I found the usage of garlic in broth slightly overwhelming which masked the natural sweetness from the seafood.

Anyway for first timers, just go during off peak hours and skip the queue.

Italian potato "dumplings" paired with roasted corn, mushrooms topped with loads of parmesan.

Not a pasta dish which I come across often, but I enjoyed nibbling the glazed gnocchi which somewhat resembled the texture of an eggplant. 🍆

By the way, last weekend to satisfy your pasta cravings before the team @southunionpark goes on a short break. But not to worry, they will be back on 21st March before you know it.

Former was overflowing with lava cheese on cookie-like churro crust.

Latter was rich in cream cheese sandwiched between matcha sponge, but it could be better if the base was more moist.

I love their revamped menu which offers a comfort twist to our familiar dishes such as Smoked Duck Eggs Benedict, Crabmeat Omelette on Sourdough and Breakfast Chicken Taco.

Not forgetting their cuppa of good coffee which has a bolder taste personality compared to the usuals.

A humble Vietnamese store located just beside the ever-snaking-long-queue Michelin BCM coffeeshop.

Decent alternative when Mrs Pho gets a little crowded during lunch. Plus points for chopping up the mint leaves which makes it less intimidating for consumption.

One of the latest additions to their seafood menu which features claypot conch steamed with lemongrass.

Seafood lovers will like how the subtle sweetness of the lala blends with lemongrass to give a refreshing sweet note. But for my case, I usually prefer the "zhup" more than the clams. 😂

Is it just me that the clam beehoon at the 2nd outlet felt paler in comparison to when I first had it at marine parade.

Either that or it has lost its appealing factor to me.

Heavily infused with oriental vibes, one can expect fusion dishes like Unagi Eggs Benedict, XYT Chai Tow Kway and Otak-otak Aglio Olio.

Quite an uncommon food pairing but some of them actually had complementary flavours.

Their potent Spicy Tom Yum Soup and "wok hei" rich Pineapple Fried Rice was still extremely satisfying as usual.
