This version from Taman Jurong came slightly balanced with spiciness and hints of tangy tomato sauce. Unlike the usual overwhelming vinegar rendition which I would go after.

While the Gong Bao Chicken Egg's Benedict was an interesting cross between Western and Chinese dish flavour, I would prefer it to be more savoury than sweet.

Perhaps a Mala Egg's Benedict?

Probabaly one of the recent nicer souffle pancakes that i have tried, but long waiting time is going to deter my next visit.

From steamed, stir-fried to deep-fried. There's always a style to suit your taste buds.

My personal favourite would be the Fujian Extraordinary Fried Oysters (3rd pic) which was tastefully done with fresh plump succulent oysters coated in light seasoned batter and deep-fried till golden brown for the extra crisp.

Putien's Oyster Festival is available till March.

Braved an hour queue to lay my hands on the hippest bubble tea in town.

Their signature 虎虎生風 Brown Sugar Boba Pearl Milk came rich with aromatic brown sugar fragrance, yet not overly sweet.

Kudos for using purple sweet potato to create purple mash which is aesthetically pleasing.

I like how their donuts were soft like 雞蛋糕 and comes with flavours like chocolate, matcha and sweet potato.

Kurozu beverages wise were light and refreshing. Good to cleanse the system after all the heavy eating.

I am so in love with their soft and moist chiffon cake that i think it deserve another shoutout.

Flavour wise, hojicha paled slightly in comparison with black sesame as it didn't had the distinctive roasted tea fragrance, but its still a good piece of cake.
