Even though we had stuffed ourselves on practically every dish listed in their dinner menu, we made sure to reserve tummy space for Artichoke's recently-launched Neh Neh Pops - a range of fabulously creative ice-creams dreamed up by owner Bjorn Shen. Between the seven of us, three chose the Sneekers, while the remaining four opted for the Strawberry Pockie, Double Chocolate Cone, Rocky Road and Mango Sticky Rice.
If you are a fan of Snickers, or peanut butter, the Sneekers will propel you to your happy place in no time. The consensus from the trio in our group who gobbled theirs down, was that the oozy salted caramel hidden within was exceptionally lovely.
Strawberry Pockie is a good one for those who fancy something fruity yet creamy. The person who picked this said that the pieces of strawberry Pocky biscuit sticks embedded in the white chocolate-dipped coating tasted nice and fresh.
The two chocolate lovers in our group were pleased with their Double Chocolate Cone and Rocky Road respectively. The former has a rich, smooth kulfi-style milk chocolate ice-cream covered in a crisp milk chocolate coating that's studded with broken pieces of crunchy cone. The latter, flamboyantly dressed in colourful cereal bits, is sweeter overall. There's even marshmallows buried in the Rocky Road's milk chocolate ice-cream.
I went for the bestselling Mango Sticky Rice because I was really curious to taste the results of the well-known Thai dessert being translated into an ice-cream on a stick. Well, Bjorn and his team pulled it off in style! I loved that the creamy coconut rice pudding ice-cream block had real mangoes inside, and the coating of white chocolate came covered with toasted coconut flakes and rice crispies. This divine decadence is something I would return for again and again. But the Sneekers is also on my radar... 😁

It was quite a disappointing experience. Was really looking forward to having a nice dessert especially having read so many reviews about their signature red velvet waffle. However, both my friend and I agreed that the waffle don't really have the taste of the red velvet and it was quite bland. The cream cheese and the chocolate sprinkle on top of the waffles add to the taste, otherwise it'll be a really bland waffle. Won't really come back for their waffles but may be back for their toast. ☺

Because I was craving for Topokki 떑볢이 the past few days, and I missed my Korea holidays too much. Kim Dae Mun has always been my fave Korean food stall in town!

And this is what sets Fat Cat apart from the many other ice cream parlours out there. Here's their highly raved Charcoal waffle w Salted egg dip. More details on the web w their recent change of plated desserts. www.jacqsowhat.con (link in bio) πŸ˜‰

A two weeks old cafe - Bell's Cottage Cafe offers a mix-and-match concept where you can choose the type of main you desire such as croissant, boule, focaccia, burger, waffle or pancake and stuff them with fillings such as egg mayo, tuna, ham and more for a savoury meal. Or you can simply pair the main with a scoop of gelato of your choice to make it a dessert meal.

I decided to go for the Cottage special that comes with a charcoal burger bun, churros sticks and chocolate dip on a platter; finally selected the Honey Lavender and Pistachio flavour for my gelato. Congrats to another new cafe in the West!

Ever since I went Thailand a few years back, I've been on the hunt to search for authentic phad thai in singapore! Finally, I satisfy many years of craving here. :D Food is cheap and delicious, but be prepared to queue during the peak hours.

My very first attempt baking bread from scratch! πŸ˜† It may seems easy, but kneeling the dough was extremely tiring. 😒 Topped with Nutella. . How can it go wrong? 😊

Unique combination of cheese and Japanese sauce :D A really different taste from the usual baked rice. ;D

Chilli crab! Who can say no to chill crab? The sauce was sweet and spicy! Meet up to singaporean ' s standard! πŸ‘ Best to eat it with their fried crispy Mantou. πŸ˜†

A really generous big portion! Ideal for sharing. πŸ‘

A really interesting dessert! Luckwarem egg tart coupled with cold ice-cream, perfect combination! πŸ‘

Original omelette curry rice! πŸ˜† Personally find the curry and rice quite spicy. Rice isn't that nice too. Overall, it was a so so dish. But for the price of $12+, it's worth it. πŸ˜†
