Never dying love for dessert, came back for the thick toast dessert 2 days in a row. They ran out of Azuki beans for my matcha toast, so we chose the Sticky Toffee toast, but paired with pistachio and ferrero rocher ice cream.

The cray cray weather calls for a Nutella Thick Toast with After Eight and Cookies & Cream ice cream, nicely paired with a glass of iced cold Mango Sticky Rice tea from Ette Tea.

Love the crisp exterior of the 3-inch toast slathered with Nutella, while maintaining the soft and fluffy interiors of the bread that goes well with the hint of salted butter (good job on that). Some said that their thick toast were "After You" number 2, or probably better.

I'll be back to try the other 5 flavours on the menu namely Gula Melaka, Matcha, Sticky Toffee, Classic Maple and Pina Colada.

Isn't it strange to find Coconut Ice Cream on this side of the island at 321 Clementi. Decent price at $4.90 include 3 toppings of choice and a cup of coconut water, however found the ice cream lacking in coconut taste because they are free from additives and preservatives.

Nevertheless, still good enough for this kind of crazy weather. Can't wait to go back to eat the REAL thing!

Dessert Special Menu of the Day: Nutty Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream. Available only today till close for Father's Day.

No one including myself could tell that Kane Mochi is originated from Thailand, not Japan. The premium flavours of Thai Milk Tea, Matcha and Taro Mochi Ice Cream were pretty good. We also tried the Korean Banana Milk, Mocha Chip and the seasonal Mango out of the 16 flavours available.

They cost only $2.10-$2.30 a pop. Buy 3 pieces for $5.90, 6 pieces for $11.50 and 9 pieces for $17. The popular Kane Mochi is also halal-certified, so that everybody can enjoy these bite-sized happiness.

Back for the amazing White Truffle ice cream and also tried their classic waffles. We picked the After Eight, Ferrero Rocher, Parma Ham Melon and White Truffle flavours. The classic waffle was lightly crisp on the outside and feature a doughy interior, which is just the way I like it.

Llao Llao is almost everywhere. Latest outlet within the luxe Capitol Piazza. Toppings such as crunch, fruits and sauces are limited here. There are only 6 selection each. The only winning factor is that there is totally no queue at all (maybe for now).

Finally someone up the dessert game by introducing White Truffle and Melon & Parma Ham in ice cream (super good). You will be intrigued to discover some of the most unique ice cream flavours at this new neighborhood dessert bar.

After sampling a total of 16 flavours, I picked After Eight as Mint is always my first choice when it comes to desserts. The ice cream flavours here are pretty intense, yet not overly sweet which is a plus point. Dessert Project is a rather strong contender in this ice cream department, and I will be back again soon.

Another Matcha Bingsu off my list. The matcha flavour is on point with generous serving of toppings such as red beans, cashew nuts, cut almond and corn flakes. The texture of the shaved ice could be smoother and finer.
