$15 | Served with butter and jam. Sourdough was well toasted and with nice crispy crust. Overall, a filling breakfast.
This place is super crowded! Was given outdoor seats but the sun was really glaring and hot. Do make a reservation before heading down to avoid disappointments!
$8 | Cake was moist and fluffy with prominent earl grey scent. Love that the lemon cream was buttery and light - not too overpowering. Definitely would be back to try the cakes again.
$2.80 | Finally understood the hype over this! Managed to grab 2 when I went in the afternoon. Topped with matcha crunch and powder, matcha bun was soft and fluffy. Filled with lots of matcha custard which are smooth and milky and ooze out when you bite! However, it’s a pity that you can’t really taste the chocolate in the custard.
Perfect for tea time!
$6.50 | Basically an ice blended green bean soup. A refreshing drink that’s not too sweet which is perfect for a hot day!
$39.90++ | Requested for takeaway and everything including the sauce was nicely packed in its own individual packaging.
All sets comes with pickles, shredded cabbage and tonjiru soup. For choice of rice, I love that they provide both options of white and brown rice. Pork Tonkatsu was fried to golden brown and coated well with breadcrumbs. Pork loin is juicy and doesn’t have an unpleasant pork stench. It’s still crispy even after a period of time and surprisingly light that it doesn’t feel greasy at all. Tonjiru soup was so flavourful! Will definitely be back again!
$32.95 | Served in a cute petal like bowl! Rice was well mixed with vinegar and rice seasonings. Variety of sashimi chopped into fine cubes and topped with cucumber, tamagoyaki, radish, ebiko fish roe and seaweed.
Downside was that sashimi was not cold at all and felt like it was placed outside for a period of time. Considering this place is supposed to have the freshest fish, it doesn’t seems like that at all. Pretty disappointed at the quality of the sashimi.
$12.95 | Great for starters! Served piping hot with strong truffle taste and not too oily. Love that they served it with thick parmesan cheese on top! A nice change to the usual grated parmesan cheese.
$26 | Looks pretty huge in photos but it’s actually pretty small in real life. As the rice was pressed tight at the bottom, it’s really overwhelming compared to the amount of sashimi given. Considering the price, it might be better to get the Chirashi Don as the portion is bigger instead of this.
$22 | Unagi Maki is SO worth the price! Only 6 pieces, but the unagi given is thick and soft. I love how it was topped with crispy tempura flakes as it gives a slight crunch to the maki. Definitely must order for sharing!
Stated 10% off for the Bakumori Don on their extended menu for weekdays however, no discount was applied during payment. Misleading.
$19 | Exceeded my expectations. Al dente pasta and holds the sauce so well. You can taste how rich and creamy it is with every bite. There’s plentiful of mushrooms and bacon too! Sous vide egg done really well as it flows when I mixed it up.
Latte was disappointing though. Changed the milk to soymilk and there were way too much foam in it with no latte art at all. Felt like I was drinking foam instead.
Love the atmosphere here! Great place to chill and have a catch up session with your friends/ family. This cafe is pet friendly as well! However, service could be a little slow as there’s not enough staffs working. Do make a reservation to avoid disappointment as it’s pretty crowded during the peak hours.
$19.50 | Wholemeal sourdough was well toasted with butter. Runny poached egg with a generous portion of smashed avocado and sheep’s feta. Tomato was juicy and fresh as well! Drizzled with olive oil, it was a well balanced meal. Although price is on the steeper side, it’s actually worth it as it’s pretty filling.
Best Ever Garlic Bread
$4.20 | Felt like it doesn’t taste as good as the name says. Super greasy and too much cream cheese that you feel very bloated after eating a few bites. Couldn’t get myself to finish it all. Not something that I would reach out for again.
Hadong Green Tea
$5.50 | This was surprisingly good! Smells like white grapes but infused with green tea.
$32 / $34 | Love that the pizza had thin crust and you can taste the homemade tomato sauce so vividly. Truffle fragrance was really strong and you can tell they are definitely not stingy with the truffle pesto. The burrata had a very nice creamy texture and well balanced with the pizza. Doesn’t feel greasy at all when eating! Perfect for 3-4 pax to share.
One of the best pizza in town! So worth it with the Burpple 1-1 deal. Will definitely be back to try other food. Only downside is that they don’t serve water at all and the cheapest drink is around $6++.
