Exploring Restaurants 🍽
$32.95 | Served in a cute petal like bowl! Rice was well mixed with vinegar and rice seasonings. Variety of sashimi chopped into fine cubes and topped with cucumber, tamagoyaki, radish, ebiko fish roe and seaweed.
Downside was that sashimi was not cold at all and felt like it was placed outside for a period of time. Considering this place is supposed to have the freshest fish, it doesn’t seems like that at all. Pretty disappointed at the quality of the sashimi.
$12.95 | Great for starters! Served piping hot with strong truffle taste and not too oily. Love that they served it with thick parmesan cheese on top! A nice change to the usual grated parmesan cheese.
$17 | Angus beef patty was soft and juicy! I’m in love with how the Insides of the patty were still red! Every bite was so flavourful and matches so well with the ketchup, cheese and spiced mayo! Would totally recommend!
House Fries
$5 | Fries were not oily, just that it was a little overcooked. House-made ketchup was really special as it was sweet and not like your usual ketchup that’s sour. Enough to share for 2 person.
Vanilla Milkshake
$10 | It was pretty thick hence quite difficult to drink through the straw. Sweetness was just right when matched with the fries!
Will advice to make a reservation before heading down as it really crowded and a long wait for walk ins.
$12.90 | Noodles consistency was alright, could be better. It was chewy though not really firm enough. I like that the pasta was watery and there’s more than enough sauce. Won’t get too jelak towards the end which was good!
If you have NTUC Plus! Card, you get a 15% discount off! Pretty affordable I would say!
$24 | Toasted bread was still warm when served and scrambled eggs were smooth and fluffy! Love how thick and soft the portobello mushroom and tomato were! The juice literally burst out when you bite on it. Baked beans doesn’t taste as good as it were before, felt like those canned baked beans.
Have always been a fan of Bread Street Kitchen! They serve awesome dishes with affordable price. However, I can’t help but to say I was pretty disappointed with the service when we went last week. There were no more complimentary breads and cookie at the end of the meal.
$48++ | One word, mindblowing. Rice was cooked with beef fat and on top of it was the onsen egg and medium rare wagyu beef cooked to perfection. (Just look at that gorgeous sliced wagyu) It’s really hard to describe but the meat literally just melt-in-your-mouth. Ending off the meal with vanilla ice cream inside clamshells biscuit!
Service were top notch and staffs were very friendly as well. It might be pricey but considering the quality and portion, absolutely worth it.
$9.90++ | My go-to place for affordable lunch/ dinner in Tanjong Pagar. Mentaiko salmon was torched to perfection. Portions are very generous and onsen egg (add $1) was super runny and good!
$10.90 | One of the best jjajangmyeon that I’ve tried in Singapore. Noodles are really chewy and mix really well with the sauce. Sauce consists of diced onions and meat. Side dishes are refillable - my favourite is their kimchi!
Waiting time are quite long if you’re coming at night so do expect to wait.
$16.40 | Milk crepe is very creamy and you can really taste the milk flavour in it. Pecan Cheesecake is a little too rich - gets really sick of it towards the end. Tea is refillable at the counter. Got it through Burpple Beyond 1-1.
Really love the ambience here as it’s very chill and relaxing. It was pretty empty when we went in the afternoon. They even have a portable charger for you to charge your phone!
