Brace yourself for a really long description. Duck Charcutiere Assembly - Wood-smoked ballotine, porcini mushroom, sauce Cumberland, chilled duck liver terrine with dry fruit and nut salad, macerated grapes, sautéed foie gras with roasted beet salad and lardons, hot duck tea. And yes everything present on this plate.

One of the best waffles I have ever had. Loved the copious amounts of nuts. Eggy and lovely, added a scoop of B&J ice cream to it to make it even more delish!

We chose 2 "starters" and 2 "mains". Truffle Fries, Scrambled Eggs, Eggs Royale & Beer Battered Fish Fillet. So that's a "Set D". It's an interesting concept; and total we paid $22/- for this set. Pretty affordable and it fed 2 people well. Worth another visit! :)

Brownie was pretty good although When I reach the middle part of the brownie, it was a little cold, figured they didnt heat it up long enought, but it was good. Vanilla ice cream was just like any ordinary one.

It's interesting to be eating a flower pot with crushed Oreo as the 'mud' and cream cheese as the soil. And the Nutella seemed to be the water soil. It was an alternating layer of cream cheese, Nutella and Oreo bits, with the base ending with the crushed Oreo. Not too bad. Basically it's Oreo cheesecake. Goes for $5.50 each

When I ordered 'Chicken Thigh' I expected something different.

Anyway, this is from Chef Mervyn Phan's GRUB, a new restaurant in the middle of Bishan Park. Review: http://danielfooddiary.com/2013/05/06/grub/

This pizza bar offers mini pizzas with toppings inspired flavours and dishes from various countries – my favourite is the Norwegian one with smoked salmon, cheese and dill. Some are a little pricey for the rather inexpensive ingredients used, but the homemade pizza crust is consistently cracker-thin and crispy.

Ate the All-Day Breakfast. I was so hungry that I was able to eat that all up. Not a fan of raisins but i enjoyed my food

Utter decadence with a zip of sour raspberry to keep it from getting too serious.

Newly opened Two Bakers is an artisanal bakery cafe serving up specialty coffee using blends from Strangers' Reunion, sweet cakes and savoury food. Using only French butter and top notch ingredients, their pastries are made fresh daily by Le Cordon Bleu Paris trained chefs. Bestsellers include their salted caramel Ă©clair, Le Chocolat Noir and moist carrot cake. Their strawberry shortcake is also delightfully refreshing and perfect for a tea-time dessert. For more savoury options, you can go for various brunch options, beef stew, Asian pulled-pork sandwich, or soups. (But of course, end with dessert!)

Bringing a variety of French pastries to Toa Payoh Central is Les Patisseries. This new kid on the block is opened by three graduates from local culinary schools. Les Patisseries literally means 'pastries' in French, and that is exactly what should bring you through their doors. From macarons, tarts, cakes and croissants, you will definitely be spoilt for choice. Opt for their Dulcey Hazelnut Tart, L’Rocky, or stick to the basics and have a croissant with a cup of coffee from Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roasters.
