A showcase of premium Scottish seafood with drinks by producers from Scotland at SKAI, 70 levels above ground. Over 60 species of sustainable seafood from the cold Scottish waters, which is why they are one of the popular choices by chefs around the world.

The most memorable dish for me will be the Salmon Fillet prepared to perfection and served with chorizo, fennel and apple. The firm and buttery-rich texture also go perfectly with “Brewdog Punk IPA” 5.4%.

Other dishes include Rock Oyster adorned in beetroot dashi, wasabi pear & oscietre caviar, as well as King Scallop with grapefruit, caramelised cauliflower, and tapioca.

Another stunningly dessert will be the Matcha Goma Garden ($17). Get to try the handmade matcha warabi mochi, matcha ice cream alongside the goma nama chocolate. The goma nama is velvety smooth and rich that we were asking if they can package it for sale!

New all-day-dining BOYUTEI by One-star Michelin restaurant, Whitegrass and matcha house HVALA.

Taking over the space at Ann Siang Hill, dishes, the restaurant has a main dining hall and soon to come basement for drinks.

Whitegrass dishes out the Japanese-French savoury menu such as Ebi Katsu Sando ($22), Prawn and Chicken Okonomiyaki ($22). Whereas tea house HVALA is in charge of the dessert and beverages.

I’m personally a fan of the sweets more than savoury (which has more room for improvement.) Matcha fans don’t miss their Goma Matcha Crepe ($14). Thin matcha flavoured crepe slathered with matcha pastry cream, a dollop of HVALA’s matcha ice cream finished with goma crumble.‹

Make your morning a little brighter with these pastries. All paired perfectly with a cup of coffee.

Dropped by at La Levain a couple of times but it’s my first time trying the acclaimed Bo Bo Cha Cha Croissant ($6.50). The croissant rendition of our local dessert is an intriguing combination of sweet potato, yam, coconut mochi and flaky crust.

Other pastries worth checking out will be their Mushroom Onion with Gruyere Cheese Danish, Pistachio Salted Caramel Cruffin and Burnt Cheese Croissant.

A stunning garden-within-a-restaurant serving tantalising Yunnan highland cuisine. This outlet is filled with curves and names of places in China which merchants will pass in the Ancient Tea Horse Road.

Known for its nourishing Steam Pot Chicken Soup, they brought back the elevated version ($32.90) which includes mildly sweet lily bulbs
imported from Yunnan and black chicken feet.

Expect new dishes which focus on é«˜ćŽŸæ–™ç† such as Braised Fish Maw with Wild Porcini Mushroom or Pomelo Salad with Osmanthus Dressing made with fresh lily bulb petals and pomelo.

The Steamed Cod With “Mei Cai” ($31.90) uses one of the best Hakka preserved vegetables from Dabu County. Neither too sweet or salty, it brings out the freshness of the cod.

Fuss-free meal at Hangawi Korean Food which serves homely Korean fare at food court pricing.

While the BBQ Chicken Set ($6.90) is on the sweeter side as customise to the local palate, their Spicy Doufu soup ($6.50) is a satisfying dish to have today. Egg tofu with meat and clams, might be small but you get the kick of spiciness. Grab a bowl of seaweed soup (self-serve) to go along.

The place gets quite packed during lunch and dinner. But the best part is Yat Ka Yan is just next door.

Specialises in Tonkatsu, it’s no surprise that the Cafe Ma Maison serves a mean Truffle Rosu Katsu Sando. Exclusive to the cafe, the juicy panko crusted pork loin cutlet has a hint of truffle and is accompanied with shoestring fries. Sliced into three, you can have it on own or sharing with friends.

One of the few places to go when we crave Taiwanese food.

While WANt Food Taiwanese’s menu had expanded with a couple more dishes, their Braised Pork Rice ($7.90) and Taiwanese Salty Crispy Chicken Rice ($9.90) still remains our favourite. Topped up an additional $3 for the bento which comes with Taiwan sausage, braised beancurd, cabbage and braised egg.

11 NEW DISHES! L'Angélus has launched an excellent line-up of new dishes.

New staples include tantalising Pluma IbĂ©rique ($45) and BƓuf Bourguignon ($132, 800g). The former features 200 grams of succulent Iberico pork “pluma” seasoned with shio koji and sous vide for an hour, then pan-roasted to finish.

Beef fans can’t miss the latter. Wagyu short ribs marinated overnight, it is pan-seared then braised bone-in with tomato paste and stock for five hours, before seasoning with mirepoix (made from cooked diced vegetables). It is served with creamy homemade pomme purĂ©e on the side.

Stepping into a Happi Place at Everton Park.

18 flavours on display, with localised flavours like Ondeh-Ondeh, Coconut with Kaffir Lime & Kopi C. At an additional $1, you can get cones or old-school Rainbow Bread to “kiap” the ice cream!

Those who like BOP’s White Chrysanthemum will likely love the Ju Pu, a creamy blend of Pu-er with Chrysanthemum flowers. Fragrant and well-balanced, as it combines the earthiness of Pu-er and aromatic notes of chrysanthemum.

Other flavours we had include the sweet Rose Lychee Raspberry and milky Bon Bon (kinda like Ferrero) atop light airy buttermilk waffles (from $9.90/waffle with a single scoop). My friend declares it one of the best he had recently!

P.S: eyeing other flavours but too full? They have mini cones at $1.50 so you can sample a variety.
