Food: miso soup, salad, dumplings, main
We ordered Mentai Don. It quite worth ad both of us were really full and couldnât finish it all :( The food is very delicious and fresh!
Ambience wise, not really anything special.
Wagyu beef was thinly sliced. The whole bowl was really quite an experience as the beef was well seasoned but might be too salty for some. The rice was fluffy and everything went well when mixed.
Highly recommend Ispahan Eclair! Very refreshing with raspberries and bits of lychee. Salted Caramel was good as well but Ispahan stole my heart! đ
Very pricey but with Burpple 1 for 1, itâs worth a try! Will definitely be back to try more flavours once dining in resume!
$28++ (Burpple menu not updated) for the Academics breakfast is exorbitant and not worth the 1 sausage, 2 eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tiny side of baked beans, 1 little slice of halloumi & 1 slice of bread. And $7.5++ for a little bottle of juice that isnât even freshly squeezed?? Câmon!
The only thing I liked about it is the smoked salmon on hash. But at close to $30, I wonder if a better value could be found elsewhere?
But covid happened, as we now look forward to their new wedding date in June, as I also look forward to dining in his restaurant by then.

Here's wishing Chef Andrea and his fiancĂ©e a lifetime of love and happiness! The wedding day will come and go, but may your love forever grow đ

Pictured: Cioccolato, a chocolate dessert part of his newly launched $148++ five course Chefâs Tasting Menu, which would have to be deferred due to the COVID-19 dining restrictions.
Honestly, I didn't expect much from the Angus Burger ($18.90+). That might have contributed to me being pleasantly surprised by it.
A juicy 120g beef patty that is flavourful but NOT salty, sandwiched in between 2 fluffy buns. Sautéed onions that add caramelised sweetness. Mushrooms that give it that earthy flavour. & sliced cheese - which, anticlimactically, was quite basic but somehow it works.
I happily chowed down on this; while it isn't the best burger ever, it delighted my tastebuds. However, I don't think I'd pay full price for this. But half price thanks to Eatigo via Shopback.... Sure!

Used Entertainerâs 1 for 1 for this. Lemon risotto with crab meat and tiger prawn. Nicest risotto I had so far. The creaminess with a tinge of sourness balanced out the meal.
I need to go back and try their entire menu!
Had this sometime back, when the world was a very different place. The brownie was pretty good - chocolatey and fudgey. It comes with an ice cream scoop of your choice. We got the 64% chocolate ice cream, which I thought had a funky aftertaste that I didn't really like. I much preferred the 80% chocolate that came with the s'mores.
Price: $14 (got 1-for-1 with @burpple beyond)

Grilled pork sausages went well with the buttered spatzle (German egg noodles). The rosti was okay but rather oily.
The Chili crab pasta ($18) was delicious! It came with a crispy fried soft shell crab, and the sauce was sweet and spicy. I personally would prefer it with linguine, I found their pasta had a grainy texture. The tom yum seafood ($17) was amazing! It was creamy but the cream was not overpowering. Iâd like it a bit spicier, I finished the whole thing without feeling jelak. The dish came with fresh prawns, not the tiny frozen prawns. Affordable with the burpple 1â1. Also had the iced latte plus, I found the coffee too acidic and bitter for my liking. Iâd recommend a regular latte instead. The ambience was perfect for a chill date!
Ordered Eggs Royale ($23) and Crispy Fish Fillet Tacos ($23).
The eggs royale was served with smoked salmon and poached eggs on the top of muffin, dressed with the mayo. I really like the smoked salmon and didn't expect the combination of poached eggs and smoked salmon would be that great. (Strongly recommend)
However, the crispy fish fillet tacos was special but the taste only so so. Believe me, it won't be your repeating order in next visit.
Taste: 4.5/5 (Eggs royale) & 3/5 (Tacos)
Service: 4/5
Environment: 3.5/5
Price: Kinda expensive even with Burpple 1-for-1
(Because it located in CBD area)
