Didn’t have much expectation but truly amazed at how good this was! Juicy scrumptious beef plus tasty mayo sauce. Size could be a bit bigger but that’s what all hungry hippos say 😜. Paprika sprinkled fries was fantastic too & a nice small size so you don’t get jelat

Reliably good and generous desserts with unique ingredients. And so well-priced!

Whatever possessed me to try Thai at an Indian place? I guess it was because most things were not open and I almost ordered Thai elsewhere but the other stallholder was cranky. Anyways I thought it could be an interesting experiment. The seafood tom yum soup was actually quite tasty, but actually more suited for pescatarians wanting an ultra small meal… cos the main ingredient in this was fishcakes leh. Plus some onion , baby corn, 2 dried up prawns and one anorexic shriveled sotong ring….eh for $8 šŸ˜…. To be fair, the pad thai was very generous with ingredients but tastes more like chinese thai kway teow 🤣. Guess I will stick to the bryani next time…. That’s huge and always good šŸ‘

I’m always hungry at night. So that rainy hungry night when I saw on google that this bak chor mee in tpy central was 24/7, I was almost skipping for joy! Sadly, they were closed. Wish people would update opening hours on google šŸ˜“. Anyways the next day I went back to ā€˜revenge eat’ 😜 , just cos I was so hungry the night before

The sambal fried rice portion was huge but completely covered up by the equally huge chicken cutlet. Two people can share quite comfortably if you are small eaters ( sadly definitely not me 🤣). Price has increased slightly from when they first opened to $7.5, but given the portion it’s still reasonable. What was new this time was I tried the har jeong gai ( prawn paste chicken $1.8) which was really quite yummy leh. So my personal ranking for their meats is now 1)prawn paste chicken 2)chicken cutlet 3) pork chop. Now if i can just find a xs sized eater to eat it with me 🤣🤣🤣

Fortunately or unfortunately, my dog groomer moved to Lor 5, on the same stretch as my fave bakery in tpy -2112 bakery. So I overbought again. The pistachio cranberry is an unmissable favourite. The lemon tarts were recommended. The salted egg fish skin is a cny staple for me and theirs were quite refreshingly light ( they also had an enticing mala fish skin that sounds impressively spicy). My family also likes their hot bakes so I bought the egg tart, curry puff, char siew puff. But actually after so many times of buying these I have never gotten to eat a single one… nothing is left the minute they hit the dining table. I also sampled many of their new cny offerings, almond brittle, peanut butter pancake ā€˜sandwich’…. Aiya regret…maybe should have bought that one too šŸ¤£šŸ˜…. Pineapple tart was lighter than I’m used to but people who like less sweet should like it! Look at doggo waiting for something to drop from the table šŸ¤£šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

Blk 51 , tpy lor 5 or 6 (no one can decide which lor this is). Anyw it’s the coffeeshop where uno used to be
