They also have a kimchi soup set with rice for $6
Newish stall ( or at least new to me)! Had to try it cos the color of the soup plus the handmade meatballs reminded me of the famous yan ji fish soup. Ok lah, it’s not as power as the famous one…but the fish and meatballs were super generous and tender. It’s definitely an above-average hawker fish soup and i finished all the soup ( I don’t for most fish soups). I chose the most affordable fish which was dory. Small $5.5, large $7.5. Both portions were generous for the price.
Jia li seafood soup, blk 51 lor 5 or 6 tpy… ppl cant decide which lor this is
( coffee shop where uno beef used to be)
New viet bistro / stand at square 2…with professional looking coffee drip cannisters and banh mi. Salt coffee is trending madly in vietnam and I’m surprised by how good this was!
Not the best pancake or souffle pancake I ever had. But it’s convenient and good for a quick fix. The smiley staff yi xing always provides great service!
Lixin opened in the takashimaya food court & there’s a promo offer! Can’t help but think the noodle doesn’t taste as good as before but the crispy lard is still awesome
I was apprehensive, cos all the dessert stores nearby were busy except this. There were also some less than negative reviews. I also had no idea what a really good sourbombe tasted like. But this was good! Tho i took a long time to get around to eating and the topping was messed up from moving around, the filling still was cold and tasty. May be true what they say tho, three main ingredients is too many. The pustachio was lost. Still good tho
Exceptional value with burpple 1- for -1! Their dons leans slightly towards sweet tastebuds though. Good place to zone out with a drink

I shouldn’t, but I did! Tried their char kway teow for the first time. It’s the wet kind, similar in style to the one at TPY central but slightly less sweet 👍. The lard was crispy, the cockles can sometimes be served cold which gives a thrilling mouthfeel next to the warm noodles and definitely not overcooked then 🤣! Boss always distinguishes himself with his fabulous wok hei! This stall has such a huge menu, many of them yummy including the baked salt chicken, paofan. But my forever favourite will be their wok hei black carrot cake!! ❤️

EAT BAR, Blk 116, tpy lor 1
Har jeong gai is one of my fave things, and when it’s this size you just gotta try it!
Novena peranakan was such a fantastic find! super yummy and such excellent value! The ayam buah keluak had super tender meat, the nut was surprisingly an actual nut not restuffed. Chap chye was a classic, the big ngoh hisng was my fave…such excellent value for $6… the crunch of those chestnuts! Because after a few orders we got so super used to the huge portions, the assam fish $14 for 4 slabs of meat was a little surprising. We so spoilt. This place is highly recommended though on the wrong day service can be a little grouchy. U can call ahead and pickup later
