So incredibly pretty, but only if you like ganache!

Even though I’m not a fan of chendol, I was surprised by how good this was. Even though it was not real coconut milk, I was surprised by how good this was

Great that it’s not so sweet but I prefer the original

Pretty pricey but at least it’s fresh. Doing my bit to support local business. Cute idea of rotating bakers. They shld help the bakers brand more

This used to be my fave here, so wondered for a minute what was different. I think it helps to stir in the sweet and cold ice cream and let the whole thing get cold

There seems to be a trend of traditional bakeries rebranding and expanding aggressively. But this 84 year old bakery in our hood seems to be staying small and sweet for now. Couldn’t resist trying even though my house is already flooded with baked goods for CNY. I thought it might just be pretty packaging but the butter cake was seriously super shiok. The salted egg almond with chia seeds was also very reasonable at $9. Wonder why I always buy the fancy flavors (read salted egg) then keep wondering about the traditional flavors. Greedy me 🤣

Tian confectionery, blk 85, tpy lor 4 ( end of the block from Ang Mo minimart)

Reliably good and generous desserts with unique ingredients. And so well-priced!

Fortunately or unfortunately, my dog groomer moved to Lor 5, on the same stretch as my fave bakery in tpy -2112 bakery. So I overbought again. The pistachio cranberry is an unmissable favourite. The lemon tarts were recommended. The salted egg fish skin is a cny staple for me and theirs were quite refreshingly light ( they also had an enticing mala fish skin that sounds impressively spicy). My family also likes their hot bakes so I bought the egg tart, curry puff, char siew puff. But actually after so many times of buying these I have never gotten to eat a single one… nothing is left the minute they hit the dining table. I also sampled many of their new cny offerings, almond brittle, peanut butter pancake ‘sandwich’…. Aiya regret…maybe should have bought that one too 🤣😅. Pineapple tart was lighter than I’m used to but people who like less sweet should like it! Look at doggo waiting for something to drop from the table 🤣🤦‍♀️

Blk 51 , tpy lor 5 or 6 (no one can decide which lor this is). Anyw it’s the coffeeshop where uno used to be
