It sounds just like the ubiquitous "spagetti aglio olio" you get everywhere but oh my goodness, the flavour in this pasta struck me with its subtle complexity. I thought the chef was very smart to grill the seafood first because that weaves a smoky aroma into the dish. Garlic lovers will be pleased to know there are whole roasted golden garlic cloves livening things up even further.
The ambience at this restaurant is worth a mention. It has a stately, old-world charm matched with an air of formality. With dim warm lighting, heavy padded leather chairs and tablecloth-covered wooden tables, Ristorante da Valentino is as far from funky hipster as you can get.

Not to mention their amazingly easy drinking beers from LA. Adding to fun is a DIY pizza where we've greedily slathered on shaved prosciutto, roasted squash, cherry tomatoes and crunchy toasted pine nuts on a bed of pesto, topped with Manchego and mozzarella (because you should really have both together). It turned out even better than the signature crab pizza we had! 🍕😋💕

Best of the best avocado I have ever tasted.Rich texture for reasonable price.Good service too.

Wagyu Beef from Shinzo!

One of the Omakase dishes introduced by former Chef Lawrence Chia who has set his standards high in presentations of food & quality served from his heart.
Wagyu Beef is one of the dish I would come back for, having to say the quality matches the price really well. Do not demand if you're looking for something cheap, it's a price to pay for quality food 😍

Not many people knows that Thailand is really good at making their fish/crab/prawn cakes, and perhaps with the myriads of items on their menu, such "kiddish" or "cheap" items are overlooked. I think Nara's fish cake is really good and at $13.90 for 6 piece it's really really good! Love their sweet chilli, which we added lime for the extra tanginess!

Former Campus Superstar participant Renfred Ng is the man behind this cool new ice cream parlour situated in Tanglin Halt. Specialising in homemade ice cream that boast signature flavours like the beautifully creamy Sicilian Pistachio, The Milky Way is off to a good start. Order some half and half waffles to go with your ice cream, and complete your experience with a cuppa brewed by Renfred himself. He may be young; but he sure is talented!

Matcha and Red Bean flavours are both available at Sync Korean Fusion Bistro.

Call me a loser but it's my first time drinking chai latte XD interesting and refreshing but not sure if I'll go for it again, not used to the spices.

Eggs cooking and BBQ warming up for the meats 😊
