The juicy scallops that we enjoyed at Kko Chi Bar! Everything was good here from the skewers to the fried chicken. I was really impressed with the skewer rotating system that allows the meat to be cooked perfectly above the heated coal.

The Korean Fusion restaurant has been around for about 6 months with a chill, simple yet really well thought out space.

Every seat has a compartment underneath to keep your bag off the ground. I really appreciate it when restaurants take into consideration where you're going to keep your bag whilst eating. Apart from that, we noticed that the exhaust system runs under the raised flooring. Which means no smokey room and no large exhaust tube hanging in the middle of the table so you can't see your friends sitting across form you.

Seems like a great place if you want to chill with friends whilst enjoying skewers and beers. They have Korean sodas too if beer isn't your thing. They're open till 3am in the morning so if you're a night owl…

This place is a short walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT near the junction of Craig Rd and Duxton Rd. And you can easily make reservations using Chope app!

Not usually a fan of curry, but this had a really addictive sweet/salty flavour and a crisp batter that I couldn't resist and ended up having a few pieces of this. 🙈

The side dishes at SBCD Korean Tofu House are quite different from other Korean places. The fried fish put me off a little cos I imagined it to be like those served with Nasi Lemak, but this is super tender and falls apart easily.

Thinking of what to have for lunch today? 8 Korean BBQ is now open at Shaw Centre and serves up this deliciously sweet, spicy beef stir-fry! Served with steamed rice, you can choose to have the rice separately or mix it in with all the beef, vegetables and gochujang sauce for a hearty meal. Only available for lunch.

I think I could drink a whole jug of this by myself! Tangy yet smooth, citrus notes make this drink super refreshing and slightly addictive. The alcoholic version would be heaps of fun to share with friends!

Mouthfuls of rainbows! If you're looking for something to cool you down whilst shopping around town, head to 1460 Tteokbokki at Cineleisure Orchard for this colourful, milky bingsu! Light and fluffy with rainbow crisps inside to add a little crunch. 😋

I can't believe this is just $3! Makes a great snack anytime you walk past 1460 Tteokbokki at Cineleisure Orchard. Crisp on the outside, soft inside and covered with a delicious spice powder blend! It's so addictive I couldn't help but to rip off more and more slices. I'm definitely going back for this!!! 😍

Plus Joo's a nice quiet place to escape the heat for lunch—air-conditioning, free wifi, customisable bibimbap… and super close to Bugis MRT.
