The moment I stepped into this pastelly- pink shop....... I smelt THE TRUFFLE!!!! How could I resist not ordering the truffle wagyu beef don (~$13.90) right?
.
Truffle smell was very strong and portion was alright, beef was very tender and very minimally charred. Sweet sauce was Super yummy and caused me to finish all the rice hehehehe 🙃 Onsen egg wasn’t as float as I hoped it’d be though. Overall pretty worth it for the price!

A safe dessert to end the meal on a sweet note, although I was aching for a black coffee after awhile (they are still waiting for their coffee machine to arrive). The filling is decadent and luscious, although we wish the crust was more buttery than crusty. Picky eaters, we are!

This roasted chicken was so close to perfection. Barring the undercooked parts next to the drumstick bone, the meat was wonderfully moist (breast meat included)! Bonus points for the herbed butter massaged under the skin for that extra flavour and golden brown finish. The gravy, blanched green beans and smashed potatoes were simple, but executed well.
Now you can have superb Sunday roast anytime!

Enjoyed this a bit more than the chicken mainly because of the richer, punchier gravy! The meat is tender, yet still has a nice give under your teeth with every bite.

Sides are the same as the chicken (blanched green beans and smashed potatoes).

This time, I also ordered their blue label chicken wings. Really enjoyed them and devoured every morsel off the bones. This time, a healthier pizza. The Umami bomb! Topped with mushrooms, lemon, spinach, goats cheese and anchovies, this was utterly delicious

Perfect food to kickstart the morning, their Truffle Scrambled Eggs on Sourdough, Smoked Salmon and Smoked Dashi Cream ($15) was a truly luxurious take on an old classic. Perfuming the eggs with its distinct earthy and decadent scent, the heady flavour of truffle worked superbly well with the eggs and cream. Velvety and soft, the curds were just the right texture too - set but still magically creamy. And not forgetting the savoury yet light dashi cream which elevated the whole dish in my opinion and added a great oomph. To enjoy it, mop it all up with their smashing sourdough (good flavour, slightly sweet and chewy) and savour bits of the nicely seasoned smoked salmon in every bite.

Signature Carrot Cake ($6.90)
.
Those golden cubes of carrot cake @gucheng.sg are so crispy on the outside tossed extravagantly with chinese sausage aka lap cheong, scrambled eggs, and bean sprouts then topped generously with dried shrimp bits had me mopping the plate clean. I’m not sure that this is the way Penang does its carrot cake since this eatery prides itself for serving up Penang dishes but I’d order this for sure for all future visits!

One of the best pho shop in singapore! Love the soup, so smooth and good. Pho in a valuable price, you can't miss Super Ngon out!

For a long time I've held off trying these "lava croissants" cause the idea of something oozesome contained within layers of flakey pastry, in my mind, would inevitably cause those dreamy crisp flakey croissant layers to take a downward turn into a flaccid lump of baked dough.
I was so wrong.
Salted Egg and Matcha Croissants were good, but Chilli Crab Croissants were daaa bomb đŸ”„đŸŠ€đŸ˜. 6.5-7.5bucks/croissant

I love the wonton noodles. Very flavorful. The chicken also delicious. All in all satisfying.
