Been hearing good reviews about this place, and finally visited them at Chinatown Complex.
The peanut paste was really fragrant, and makes you go for more with every spoonful. The sesame however was more muted in flavour - felt slightly more watery and it wasn't as nutty or strong as I'd have liked it to be.
Still a pretty good dessert, and I'd love to try their walnut paste next.

Black Sesame Paste + Almond Paste
Walnut Paste - kind of bland for me

This is best of both world. However i still find the black sesame it a bit sweet to my liking and not enough nutty flavor. After mixing both togather it tastes better!
Fragrant Herb Green Bean Soup - The crumbly green bean was well perfumed by rue (臭草).

The older the tangerine peel, the refined the citrus flavour.

In Macao, the Red bean soup is mixed with Black Sesame for a different texture and palate.
They call this 紅黑.

I’m a huge fan of traditional desserts and this stall is one of my go to. My favourite dessert here is the ginkgo nut with barley which they do so well here. It has a delicate flavor from the ginkgo nuts and also a subtle nutty flavor from the wholegrain barley. Yummy!
