Yuan ji fishball noodles ($3)
Its $4 for more ingredients but I went for small bowl. Liked the doneness of the Meepok and the chilli. Just didnt like the coriander which is mixed with the spring onions.
Definitely the stall to try if you’re a fishballs lover. Has the crunchy fishballs as big as table tennis balls. Well done noodle that’s al dente to the bite and very tasty.
Back to Tiong Bahru hawker centre, for the Hui Ji Fish Ball Noodle (#02-44).
Bak chor mee tai mak from Yuan Ji Fishball Noodle ($4). This is my favourite stall compared to Hui Ji or the Toa Payoh one, though it has shorter queues. Mee tai mak felt less filling than mee pok. Will stick with mee pok in future.
