This was super chocolatey, silkier and slightly less sweet thanks to the use of buffalo milk, which has a lower water content than cow’s milk
Made using a special technique of steaming, which results in smooth runny milk pudding with a thin sheet of milk on top
.
The milk used, which has higher water content, is provided by their own buffalo farms in China
Hong Kong is a very walkable city. Put food into the equation and walking around doesn't seem that bad. When you're tired, just pop into one of their food stores! Our before dinner pit stop because walking from mongkok to yau ma tei was a bit tiring. Their version of the milk pudding is super milky. Unlike the milky egg white pudding offered at other "dairy companies". Definitely good for ppl that love milk but I prefer milky egg white pudding rather than milk milk pudding!
@@ just miss the taste and came to have it again 😬 anyway it warms up my whole day
A must have really when you visit kowloon. A short hop from yau ma tei station, this age old shop still has the quality after all these years- even the waitresses don't change!
The double layered steamed egg is a different experience when hot and cold. It even comes with egg and chocolate. Something I have every single time I come to hong kong, well most of the time more than once:)
Yee Shun Dairy Company serves excellent milk pudding that you can enjoy in a variety of flavours, hot or cold. Tried the original and the one with the ginger juice, and I preferred the original one. Both were really good - super smooth and pleasantly sweet. The chilled pudding makes for a refreshing dessert on a hot summer day. They also have flavours like mango, chocolate and red bean, if you're feeling adventurous.
