Dessert And Supper In Hong Kong
When the bowl arrived it was daunting- 30cm wide! we ordered one bowl that was pictured on the wall. Apparently it's like a mix and match system, so if you don't understand the menu, ask for the English one! We happened to have the hand made noodles and original broth. It was tasty and generous. The soup was not too salty and the amount was sufficient for two people. The shop is open twenty four hours so you can pop by regardless of the time :)
A must have really when you visit kowloon. A short hop from yau ma tei station, this age old shop still has the quality after all these years- even the waitresses don't change!
The double layered steamed egg is a different experience when hot and cold. It even comes with egg and chocolate. Something I have every single time I come to hong kong, well most of the time more than once:)
A must-have dessert and one of the two places just off Nathan road to have this. The lovely light milky taste and smooth texture reminiscent of soy bean curd is hard to resist. And at 26hkd, it's an affordable sin even penny pinching scrooges have difficulty denying
