First visit to Xiao by Crustz and they got my tastebuds on a roller coaster ride - exciting flavours! This La Nature mousse is a combination of Honey Chocolate sponge, Yuzu Mango Jelly, vanilla cremaux and dark chocolate! Mhmmm, too good to be true (but it’s truly delicious).
In case you haven't heard: this charming dessert shop tucked in Happy Mansion is showcasing three special desserts, one of which is the cake that took home the coveted World Pastry Cup by four Malaysian pastry chefs. Find the award-winning La Nature (RM22) that Burppler Serena Ho says is an extremely well-balanced dessert with a chocolate base and three types of honey. Also available are other delicate cakes crafted by the in-house dessert team like the refreshing Pear Vanilla (RM17) and the fragrant La Vie En Rose (RM16).

Another beautiful cake by this artisanal dessert place. Look at the gorgeous butterfly topper. This is a chocolate cake with a mix of different textures. Not too chocolatey, which is good for non-chocolate lovers, and not too sweet either. Perfectly balanced.
This is RM22.
I had to choose the prettiest dessert.
A dessert made of hazelnut crunch, hazelnut mousseline, chocolate ganache and puff. The combination was really good and not overly sweet. Love!
This is RM17.
Trust Xiao by crustz if you’re looking for a decent patisserie to have for tea break. The Pear Vanilla is a refreshing fruity treat. Buttery Breton Sablé topped with vanilla crémeux, pear compote with pear jelly surrounded by a chocolate crown. RM17 per piece.
You can now feel a little happier in Happy Mansion thanks to Xiao by Crustz. The array of desserts here are seen through a rosy glass (hint: La Vie En Rose) and if the La Vie En Rose (RM16) and Earl Grey (RM15) doesn't give you a contented sigh, the adorable ceramic bunnies seated on the tables will.
