Can’t find what’s the actual name, but its a ricecake with some bean filling. Texture: more tough and chewy as compared to mochi (cuz its ricecake). Very faint taste of the bean filling as compared to angku kueh.
Would have preferred if the ricecake is a little thinner and more filling :)
Interesting nonetheless… would come and try the other types of ricecake in the future.
Handmade Korean Dessert which made of pumpkin, sweet potato, asteraceae, black glutinous rice; with mixed of nuts, dried pumpkin and black bean.
Very soft texture, not very sweet and to be shared.
From Cafe Hodunamu, Vegetarian sticky healthy snack $3.50 each.
Hidden gem in Everton park - I think their main business is actually in catering of Korean rice cakes.
Simple menu but everything is heartily portioned, delicious and reasonably priced. The taste of moms' cooking. Especially recommend the kimchi fried rice (best in sg imo)
Same place as kimchi gimbap. This was a sample. Walnut tree #01-55
This is a non spicy version of korean rice cakes. The rice cake is made by the owner. Soft but still with a slight bite. Texture is quite good.
