Ordered the seafood yamama ($8.90) and tom yum noodle ($9.90) using the 1 for 1 burpple app. They also offer the tuk tuk cha $9.90 set lunch which includes a main and a drink. We ordered the Phad Thai and Thai milk tea. The phad thai was definitely well-received and we enjoyed the dish. Especially good when eaten served hot. The seafood yamama was also very tangy and we loved it too. All these for $18.80. Yums.
Delicious broth, a steal with the burpple 1 for 1
Thai Milk Tea Shibuya Toast 🍞 Used to find their desserts not bad but I guess the standard might have dropped sobs. Nevertheless still good toast but ice cream can be improved. It is a little too icy right now. Haha would love to have a more creamy texture ice cream with the toast. Hence it tasted a bit like shaved ice with toast than ice cream with toast 🤣 Good to share between 2 pax as it's kinda filling if you were to eat it all by yourself. And tbh a little dry eating this hence #myheartisokie for this.

Expected chicken chunks to be cooked in a tom yum sauce, but instead what I got was pieces of karaage (Japanese fried chicken) with tom yum powder sprinkled over it. Bought this at student price but I feel like it's still a complete rip off. You can judge for yourself whether this is still 'authentic thai food'.
Ordered Set C which consist of a main (Phad Thai) & dessert (Golden Toast with Dips) which I choose the Yam Kaya Dip and spent a total of $10.80.
The Phad Thai kind of dry but the taste is not bad. Might be due to me having it takeaway and the noodle and sauce dried up. The Golden Toast with Dips is nice. The Toast is toasted perfectly and it is a good compliment with the dip for the sweetness.
I would come back for the Toast but not the mains.

Review 💬: Have been wanting to try Tuk Tuk Cha’s shibuya toasts for awhile as they are pretty affordable compared to others like Dazzling Cafe’s. Opted for the thai milk tea flavour as I wanted something which was not as common. The portion was just nice for 2-3 in my opinion. The toast was a little off to me, although I could not quite put a finger on it. Maybe it was too buttery (which made it taste overly greasy) or the edges were not as crispy as I would have liked, but as an entire, it was not bad. Would not go back just for the shibuya toast, but if I’m in the area and craving for something sweet, I would not mind getting it again.
