Different types of katsu available (buffet). Only for the big eaters!
Rosu, hire, ebi, oyster, fish. Part of the buffet. Rosu is fatter than the usual drier hire, therefore better, but jelak faster. I love their oyster katsu.
Simple dish but super comforting. Bite into it and you taste the juiciness of the pork together with the slightly melted cheese, damn shiok. Breaded crust was done just nicely too! Remember to mix with the sauce for the full combo 😋
Overdosed on pork (as usual) on my first ever visit to the Tonkichi outlet at Orchard Central. But unfortunately, it didn't quite "meat" my expectations. Service was very good though.
Tonkatsu.

For a restaurant that specialises in tonkatsu, I must say that it didn't disappoint me at all! The breaded crumbs on the surface was crisp yet not too overpowering. The meat itself was lean and thus makes it a rather healthy meal! However, I would wish for the meat to be more tender and juicier. They provide some dark sauce which complements the meat perfectly, in my opinion. Eat it with the cabbage as well, which provides a refreshing balance after a few mouthfuls of meat!
