Available from now to 31 August, you can get to try the Ayam Masak Merah with Rice ($9) that is inspired from a family recipe of one of Toast Box’s chef, a meaty chicken drumstick that is first deep fried then cooked in a sauce comprising shrimp sambal paste, rich curry paste, tangy tomato puree and yellow onions. The dish is completed with white rice, homemade achar and a sunny side up egg. To complete the meal, there is the Berry Perfect ($3.20) of a strawberry and full cream milk combo.

I've wanted to try this for a long time because it comes in affordable small slices.
Not very nice. The cream is quite tasteless and the raspberry jam is sour. Not fluffy and sweet as I expected. Do yourself a favour and get a kaya butter toast instead. 😂

Been a couple of years since I last had this and boy is it still awesome. Good balance of spiciness and flavour. Generous servings of tau pok, fish cake and prawns!! 😋

Awesome salted egg yolk dish at Toast Box!! Identical recipe as Breadtalk's croissant!! Great deal at $3.90 with kopi/teh too. Great side dish or snack choice :)

'Fine dining' becoz not having a gd appetite. Rather buy the real otah instead
