Spiced Pork Cubes Mee Pok from Toast Box in collab with Myojo Singapore. It has 3 spice levels for their homemade chilli oil - mild, spicy and fiery. Noodles were too soft for my liking though and it could definitely work with more sauce to coat the noodles more thoroughly. The pork cubes were marinated five-spiced style. This is available ala carte or as a set with a cup of barley drink.
Thank you @toastboxsg for the invite! ✨
Kopi Siu Siu Dai was great. Not sweet and the Kopi taste was strong but not bitter. Toast was crispy, with lots of butter inside. Amt of kaya just right, so not too sweet. Nice fresh eggs.
There was no need to order Kopi C cos Kopi was already milky enough. Good coffee taste. Sweetness level just nice.
Bread was nicely toasted and the peanut butter had a wonderful roasted flavor to it. On the watery side but thick on nuttiness.
I’m really starting to like Kopi from toast box. Siu Siu Dai wasn’t bitter and I liked the milkiness of it. Wasn’t sweet either.
Thought this looked rather comforting on the menu given it is instant noodles with chicken chop and nacho cheese drizzled atop, but this was sadly disappointing especially for the noodles. No doubt it had a fragrant sesame oil aroma running through it along with the savoury sauce it was tossed in, but the noodles really required more cooking time for they were a little hard and some parts was still left stuck and partially cooked. Guess it was just about having it at a wrong time ...
