I decided to try this dessert ($15) before heading back to home. It's so good and strong bitter taste tbh for thick matcha sauce. But the lava cake was quite hard to cut through for letting the sauce to flow through. As the berry sauce was quite sweet and topped with fruit such as strawberry and blueberry and almond topping. But it's just out of way for heading down to cafe area as not near to mrt and need to go a bit from bus stop.

I'd return for this breakkie, the spinach goes well w the scrambled eggs

We love our fries! (+ bonus points if there’s truffle included 😉). If we’re talking about portion alone, This’ edition of truffle fries is definitely a 10/10. We took so long to finish that it became so cold haha but thankfully the staff helped us to heat it up again 💯

It was slightly packed when I visited on a weekend aftn but because the tables are well spaced out, I’d recommend it as a conducive space for friends to catch up with each other!

How could we visit Thus Coffee without trying out their filter coffees! The cafe roasts their beans in-house and today, they were serving an Ethiopian blend for their filter coffee. The coffee was served piping hot and it tasted slightly sour at the start, although it seemed to have a little more fruity aftertaste when it has cooled down and we were near the bottom of the cup. Pretty interesting and definitely heartwarming to have this on a rainy day!

We have heard a lot about Thus Coffee but given it's slightly-inconvenient location at the Sembawang Hills area, it was hard to find a chance to visit! We finally had the chance to head down today and we were pretty impressed by it's quaint and cosy interior. Even though it was a rainy weekday afternoon, the cafe was surprisingly still pretty crowded!

We got a crowd favourite for lunch - the prawn aglio olio! The dish uses linguine and a really generous amount of garlic, coupled with mushrooms, (pretty big) prawns and a decent serving of cut chillies. Pasta texture was just right and it wasn't too hard or too soggy, although we thought that the serving was a little small for the $19++ paid for this dish. The prawns were big, although we suspect that they were of the frozen variety, although this is small matter to us. The dish wasn't that spicy but if you are unable to take spicy food, you might want to tell the staff to reduce the spice level even further!

Had order Chicken cutlet jjolmyeon, Prawn aglio olio, Garlic carbonara, Truffle fries & Sweet potato fries. Definitely worth the price! Food by far one of the best I have so far. Nice ambience too.

My Rating:
1. Chicken cutlet jjolmyeon 2.5/5; love their chicken cutlet but noodles.. so so..

2. Prawn aglio olio 4/5; flavourful definitely a must try for those spicy/aglio olio lovers

3. Garlic carbonara 4.5/5; My most favourite dish, esp when adding a hint of Tabasco sauce in it 💙

4. Truffle fries 3.5/5; quite amazed that the fries still remains crispy even after it cool down. Not like those which will turn soggy. But can be better if the truffle taste is stronger!
