Green Shot

$5.50 · 7 Reviews

A good place to chill and hang out with friends over good coffee. Not overcrowded so that makes it comfortable ☺️

For those who wants espresso but cannot abandon matcha, the Green Shot (S$6.50) could possibly be the best answer. Though it was an unlikely fusion “Yuen-yang” they made here, the cuppa still tasted good with some lingering aftertaste of matcha and coffee, whichever one you would want to identify with first.

Though I must also say, it might be better for me to have the beverage without touching their cakes. Sold at S$8.00 per slice, I tried their Devil’s Chocolate Cheesecake, and it was really dry and hard for both the top and bottom layers, not forgetting its kid-size portion.

Coffee beans roasted in-house at @thuscoffee using beans from Ethiopia, Guatemala and El Salvador results in a blend that’s earthy and easy to drink. Forgot to check but my flat white ($5) was pretty mild so you might want to add another shot at just 50c.

Their Green Shot ($6.50) is definitely worth a try too. Matcha latte with a shot of coffee, this was an awesome respite from the heat. Coffee and foods both good here, so definitely warrants a revisit!

When you can’t decide between coffee or tea.

Matcha / milk / espresso; great place to chill with pretty good coffee.
