We enjoyed this! The brownie here is the denser sort and had a good ratio of the cheesy and chocolatey parts. Just a touch on the sweet side.

I’m not a big fan of pound cakes, but this orange pound was not too bad and wasn’t dry like others I’ve had. They have other flavours to pick from as well, like Confetti Pound, Banana Walnut, etc.

First honey cake I’ve tried! Didn’t expect to like it cause of how sweet it looks, but it was a pleasant surprise. The multiple layers had a mixture of biscuity parts and a nice touch of caramelisation.

This was a good and homely slice of old school chocolate fudge cake! It was chocolatey yet not too sweet, and the cream didn’t leave an oily feel that you sometimes encounter with cakes like these.
Popped by The Pastry Empire, a 2 month old cake shop along Bali Lane to try out their cakes. They have a big range, from brownies, pound cakes, to rolls and also vegan options. Got to try a few and we liked the Chocolate Fudge Cake ($7) and Cheesecake Brownie ($5.50) the most!
