Ice Citrus Red Velvet Latte with Hazelnut Shots - S$6.8
πŸ“: @the_lab_sg Singapore

Ordered salted egg fries ($8), chilli crab pasta ($16), burgerstack ($16) and wings ($10). For the pasta, there is fusilli or spaghetti to choose from as well as the spicy level for the sauce. The sauce of the pasta was great as it taste like authentic chilli crab sauce. As for the burgerstack, there is beef, chicken and mushroom. The cheese was good but I would suggest y'all to top up for more cheese if you are a cheese lover huehue.

Raising this Burger stacked with a 6oz hand-patted beef patty with portobello mushroom, melted mozarella, cheddar cheese, and blue cheese aiolo. πŸ”πŸ”πŸ”. .

This monster burger is one of their best selling dish. Personally love the taste of different types of cheese. 😍

Red Velvet Waffle (red velvet again huh?)- well this one has a black, charcoal batter, and the red velvet is the condiment, contrary to RV waffles elsewhere. Think their sister cafe Sinseh (located just up ahead) made this. It was pretty good, albeit too crowded would probably be back to Sinseh for other waffle renditions I guess. 3.5/5

Average tasting shrimp bao. The buns were perfectly steamed however the toppings tasted bland and average. Was disappointed at the shrimp bao because they didn't use real shrimps. 😣

One dish that I didnt enjoy much here. The taste wasn't bad but it just didnt have that distinct and flavor that I was looking for. Nothing special in this dish.

This 6oz hand-patted beef patty with portobello mushrooms, melted mozarella and cheddar cheese, and Blue Chesse Aiolo will surely fill you up. This monster burger is one of the highly recommended dish here. Go grab one!

Ordered mushroom and turkey bacon aglio olio(spicy): love it! The kick is there but not super duper spicy. Not really oily to me.
Salted egg pasta with smoked duck: really nice but after a few mouth starting to get gelat alr. Smoked duck is very fat and nice.
Crispy salmon dish: really nice! Highly recommended.

Service: meh. Tables are always reserved reserved.
Food: great! 2nd time visiting.

Serve cold press juices and other special drinks too. Super throw back. Just realise that I haven't post food pics from this place. This place make it into good cafe list, I better post and remember to go back. #halalcafesg #cakeshake #foodsg #burpple #igsg

A generous slab of fresh, succulent sea bass with crispy skin, served on pumpkin purΓ©e and charred corn. At just $17? What a steal, methinks.

So go ahead and quench your thirst with this playful drink called Heisenberg Sparkler at @the_lab_sg.🍹 .

This citrus-based soda is combined with mint leaves and slices of lime for that added refreshing fizzy touchπŸ‹πŸŠπŸ‹. Go add some flavour and sweetness with a Blue Curacao Syrup that's served in a πŸ’‰

Definitely a must try here! Don't worry it's not alcoholic πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ .

Great tasting pasta! Their specialised teas are awesome!! Best cafe undoubtedly

$15?

It is churros waffles with salted caramel and baked Apple chips. It was so yummy as having it the second time. "Sinseh the grocery"cafe is just next door and they share the same menu for desserts. I feel that The Lab cooks it better for waffles

It was goood. The sauce was creamy and nice. They also give prawn with it. Salmon was tender and flaky, yummmmm

Have a wonderful weekend my loves.

Mussels Marinade (SGD$10.00), made of up large fresh mussels, leek and celery in a bucket of white cream marinade. Toasted baguette was served together with this dish. While I rather enjoyed the plump and springy mussels flesh, squirting sweet cream sauce when chewed, I thought the broth was too luscious for my liking.

The Lab boasts a very interesting concept of incorporating laboratory equipment in some parts of their restaurant, like their layout, menu, food etc. My friend and I ordered The Heisenburger ($17) and the Pan-seared Seabass ($17) and former is DA BOMB. The beef patty is really thick and juicy! The bleu cheese aioli in the burger goes really well with the beef. However, I found the patty a little hard. (Though you can ask for whichever doneness you want the patty to be.) The mixture of potato and sweet potato fries were still crispy yet fluffy on the inside even when they have gone cold.

For the drinks I ordered the KWG slushie which was not too sour nor sweet and really refreshing. It's perfect for the humid weather in Singapore!

Service was commendable; my friend's salad on the side was too salty, and we asked for a change. They immediately attended to us and brought back an even bigger portion of salad for her!

Any of the cakes in the lab costs $8.90, wanted to try the ondeh ondeh cake but it was not available anymore by the time we were done with our mains (i cant believe i saw that last slice of ondeh ondeh cake passed me). Upon order, somehow they microwaved the cake twice(?). The cake was quite spongy in terms of texture and its not crazily sweet. I like the cream but i guess due to it being microwaved, the texture sort of.. feels like the cream left out for too long and melted a bit. Would come back to try their other cakes tho!

A bit oily but overall a very satisfying dish! I quite like the duck and the dish is quite fragrant. You do have a choice of either spaghetti or fusilli, and it costs $16 if im not wrong, if i recall there isnt gst or service charge. Quite a nice place to hang out tho!
