Got to know of this place from Zhihui's post - nice selection of bottles craft beers at different price points. Loved the recommendations from the friendly staff as well:
Innis & Gunn's Original Oak Aged Beer ($7.00 nett) - hints of toffee & vanilla in a beer that is matured in an oak cask!
Trappistes Rochefort 8 ($11.00 nett) - a Belgian Dark Ale with an impressive 9.2% ABV that is, believe or not, pleasant to drink.
Tucked in a corner in the 2nd floor of Wheelock Place, there are only a few seats to sit at, but you can totally get these beers to go. We, however, managed to get a seat & to chit chat & appreciate the nice playlist they had playing. Groovy baby 🕺🎶🍻

My first exposure to mead in this tasting session ($38/pax) was such a fun and very interesting experience thanks to a good company, great mead and @greatbeerexperiment & Simon of @rachelletherabbit for making it happen!
Personally love Rachelle’s Bandung which had a subtle floral fragrance and slightly dry.
Also loved the bonus unnamed surprise bottle which was so easy to drink - a definite crowd favourite which is gonna be on my mind for a long time - cant wait till I can get my grubby hands on it!
& now I know where I can get a drink or two in town.
I was hopped out after this (literally). Glorious find; now I will defo make it all the way to the Dandenong on that trip to the Yarra Valley; and it wouldn’t be because of Puffing Billy. Thanks Lincoln for the wonderful hospitality!
Finally a craft beer space, this side of town and accessible to all. Opening number is a @toolbeer Tropical Rumble IPA. Refreshingly wonderful on a humid day like this; yes, IPA refreshing. 🙌
Love it! Not too sweet because of the ginger, but you still get the kick!
