RM11.90 | SO. GOOD. Love that the staff really whisk the matcha powder till it’s frothy before adding it to the milk. Matcha taste was very strong and you can still taste the bitterness in it. As the sugar level is fixed, thankfully it wasn’t overly sweet.
As I like my matcha to be bitter, this was perfect for me. Felt that it might be too overwhelming for those who doesn’t enjoy thick and strong matcha taste.
Refreshing n definitely a must get if you are in KSL
Though it was lacking that slight caramel taste which I desire, I’m still glad that it tasted as good as it looked.

No long queues here at the KSL outlet unlike those in HK and China. Tried the signature Royal No.9 and could understand why this is a hit! I like how the milk tea had some hints of floral notes; very surprising indeed!
The Matcha latte with brown sugar pearls is one of The Alley’s new products and specialties. The pearls were really fragrant and complemented the matcha latte well. The soy hojicha latte was also good, with the tea being rich in flavour as well.
