Delicious Thai boat beef noodles… leaves you wanting more. Price $6
The small cup of lemongrass tea for $2 is too pricey.

Lunch at @victorythaiboatnoodles in @beautyworldcentre1984

Boat Noodle Pork (S$6)
The broth was slightly more salty than preferred. Wished the noodles was cooked slightly longer.

Grill Pork Noodle (Dry) (S$6)
Wanton Noodle (S$6)
Both dishes were similar except one got dumplings. Noodles was too bland. The grilled pork was quite fatty.

I was searching for Thai restaurant in Bukit Timah area and found this affordable place at the first floor of Beauty World Centre.

If you come during lunch time, they have the $7.90 lunch set with a few options to choose from.

Of course I went for their signature boat noodle, which you could choose either pork or beef.

The soup was delicious and tasty, with the chewy noodle and lots of ingredients.

Tried this place due to the good reviews from famous food critics online, but was sorely disappointed. I tried the beef boat noodles ($6+) - the rice noodles were firm and well cooked but overwhelmed by the salty broth. The portion was measly for the amount paid - there were only a few spoons of noodles and some thin slices of meet. Another tried the Thai basil rice ($6+) but found the flavour lacking. We also shared the mango sticky rice ($6+). The mango itself was great but it came with flavoured pandan rice that all of us didn’t like. A really unsatisfying experience overall.

$10 lunch promo with drink and red rudby dessert. Chilli sauce is good.

Ordered their Pork Thai Boat Noodle ($6). Moments after we ordered, the food was delivered within seconds.

I have never tried Thai Boat Noodle before hence I not sure what is the standard. The soup has lots of flavour in it which is delicious. The rice noodle is clear and chewy which I personally find the texture weird. Maybe I should try other noodle next time.

Overall, it is not a bad dish.
