First impression of the laksa gravy seems watered down but surprisingly the gravy is much flavourful and rich in taste than it looked.
Their laksa has a lighter texture with a subtle hint of coconut milk and comes with fish cakes, cockles and prawns.

Not bad, it's not as thick as I thought, slightly on the lighter side but all in all still a very good bowl of Katong laksa
A stall in Bukit Timah Market & Food Centre that is helmed by a really nice man who says he has been in the business for ~10 years now. Each bowl of laksa costs $3.50 with cockles. You have the option of adding sambal chili which he will place in your spoon. Key selling point of the stall is that they have no added msg, sugar nor evaporated creamer. Felt that the portion size was slightly small.
Laksa ($3.50)
- Comes with prawns, fishcakes, cockles (Option to remove them), chopped rice noodles
Laksa was quite thick and creamy with a distinct coconut milk fragrance (without being overpowering). When paired with the cockles and the sambal chili, the laksa was enjoyable to drink though certainly, it was slightly spicy.Â
Overall: 7/10 (Worth trying if in the area)

Tasty and flavourful, the cockles is huuuuge for a price like this.
Trying out this Laksa stall from Bukit Timah Market & Food Centre for the very first time. This comes with quite a good balance of rempah and coconut milk flavours with short beehoon with a little spiciness from the Sambal. Prawns were quite fresh and fish cakes were smooth and soft. Don't forget to add the Otah which comes at $0.50 per piece; a pretty good addition for more condiments!
A modification of the usual Katong Laksa. The hae bi taste is just right, together with the Nonya Otah which costs only $0.60! My laksa craving is satisfied!
