3.5 munchies: I've been stuffing myself with so much food in HK and even after climbing up some really steep flights of stairs to get to my favourite cafe, I was still too full for their 5-munchie matcha cheesecake. So, the closest alternative I got was the Matcha & White Chocolate Scone. It was flaky and slightly crusty on the outside; moist and buttery on the inside. The matcha flavour was, needless to say, pronounced as ever.

Because they are advocating environmental friendliness, do bring your own straw next time if you plan to get an iced beverage. I haven't stopped raving about their iced sea salt yuan yang since 2011!

There was also a sweet lingering aroma from all the tea & desserts in the cafe that'd make this place a great spot for an afternoon chill. Well it'd really be better if they don't have that one-order/person rule.. we resorted to takeaway in the end that day because the staff weren't very happy that we were sharing 😶 #BZExplore

this dainty matcha cheese cake ought to be made mandatory as the official friday's chill pill. accquired matcha taste is not a sure hit with everybody but this is a game changer i assure you. so much love for this unpretentious cafe and if weather allows, please take the seats outside and just zone out.

sometimes not able to find some wayout cafes in the city, or making a big detour because of a wrong turn, i question myself why the trouble and energy to find yet, just another cafe.
but is because places like teakha and taking a sip of this keemun rose tea with locally grown honey makes me realise that such gems are really worth unearthing for. that mellow aromatics of keemun tea is so calming and welcoming that all weariness of a big detour or wrong turn simply just disappear at the very first sip.
you rejoice in that needed break, that spiritual replenishment if i may and embrace the cafe vibe wholesale. i think that's the spirit of cafe hunting isnt it. is not about another ig worthy post but because is bout being there to bask in the cafe mood and celebrate their sincere offerings made with passion. just saying.

5 munchies: I've not featured something twice before, but this Green Tea Cheesecake – I had to. The cheesecake was still as dense and creamy with the right amount of matcha bitterness to balance the sweetness. What also sealed the deal was the fragrant and moist digestive biscuit base. It was so good that I managed to polish it off on my own and not get cloyed!

Teakha never fails to deliver and maintain the highest quality for most of its items on the menu. Do get the Iced Sea Salt Yuan Yang for the perfect pairing with the cheesecake.
