Kids enjoyed the garlic fried rice. Paired with Agedashi tofu. Makes for a pleasant meal for adult and kids

The Yakiniku Don was tasty. Paired with nice Ebi tempura and Agedashi tofu. Beef was nicely marinated with enough flavour.

This teriyaki beef don used to be our must-order whenever we're at Sushi Tei. But after a recent 3 tries (all on separate occasions) I conclude that the recipe has changed and the standards have dropped. Not only does the skimpy portion not impress, but the once rich, slightly sweet sauce has become a watered down, super salty sauce that makes it really difficult to strike a good balance between having enough sauce for the meat & rice and not being mega salty.

Was deciding between the regular tempura don and this. The difference is this has all the ingredients (prawn, carrots, onions etc) chopped up and fried together in a bundle. Hard to go wrong with Sushi Tei. Their sauces are always on point 👌

Sweet hotate topped with juicy ikura on top of sushi rice wrapped around tamagoyaki and creamy avocado. The hotate and ikura had so much flavour that it didnt matter what was inside the dragon roll actually. Nonetheless, the avocado and tamagoyaki added extra smooth texture to the sushi roll. An excellent creation!!

My favourite type of sushi after ootoro (premium tuna belly). 😋
