Seafood Steamboat buffet with nice ambience. Service is great with staff prompt to clear used dishes. Only water is provided but other drinks are chargeable. Ingredients are fresh and variety is decent. Plenty of sauces to choose from. Fire source on the other hand took a while to boil the soup. Check out below for full review

Here's a sneak preview of it! 😄 Their new buffet selection intends to showcase the best local favourites with Indian rojak, laksa, beef rendang and fish curry, together with a generous BBQ station, a dessert station and many more!
Available from 12pm to 3pm at $42++ for adults and $20++ for children. Given the vast array of expensive choices here, this really presents great value.

What better way to celebrate our nation's 51st birthday than with a spread of local and international street fare, barbecued items and chicken char siew kebab? My picks include the ondeh ondeh, butter chicken, Indian rojak, and of course, Chef Kelvin's signature laksa.

The Singapore Food Story Weekend Buffet Lunch is available today and subsequently every Saturday and Sunday, from 12 noon to 3pm. Many thanks to Christine and Aloysius for the warm hospitality, and Eleanor for extending the invitation!

Not to be outdone, Street 50 has also launched their own variation of salted egg yolk dishes, not one but two of them. One of it is the deep fried Soft Shell Crab with Salted Egg Dip ($7.90). What truly stood out was the inclusion of curry leaves and chilli padi into the salted egg yolk dip which makes it better than many others. However, it could be watered down slightly and have a smoother texture as the one that we got was way too thick.

The salted egg dip was a nice touch and it went really well with the soft shell crab. If you are a soft shell crab lover this is a must try!

Conveniently located 5 min away from Vivocity at the ground level of Bay Hotel, this restaurant offers a variety of fusion mains and sides. There is no surprise to the taste of the food, but good enough to satisfy our tummies at affordable prices.
P.S.: Street 50 Cafe and Bar also offers steamboat buffets at low prices. Its having 1-for-1 mains promotion for Citibank cardholders!

Shrimp & Eggplant Sambal ($8.90)
Local eggplant with fresh shrimp stir-fried with spicy sambal.

This plain looking spicy dish turned out to be the winner tonite. Spicy but addictive. We wiped clean the dish. One of us even wanted to get another serving. The sambal was sweet and spicy at the same time, great even with plain rice alone.
