Located at East Coast Park, St Marc’s is an easy alternative for a midday treat and break that is not the overwhelmingly crowded Starbucks. I love warm desserts that are paired with ice cream - so this Fuji series St Marc’s offers was perfect. The warm puff pastry was light and fluffy, complementing greatly with the slightly sweet vanilla soft serve, which was made even sweeter with the black syrup drizzled all over it. While on the sweeter side, this desert remained very pleasant, and if you enjoy azuki red bean, this dessert would work even better for you.

Chocolate banana chococro - I’m ashamed to have taken so long to even try this. Such a delightful, easy, sweet midday treat to have. The chocolate banana filling was an excellent balance of sweetness, and the pastry puff was light and not too flakey.

The long weekends are a perfect excuse to “live to eat”, at 4pm after lunch and a leisure cycle mum and I found ourselves at St Marc’s that bodes nostalgia. You see I used to frequent the cafe weekly when St Marc’s had an outlet at Raffles City, during my university days.
Today the cold signature vanilla soft serve on a warm Danish pastry drizzled with salted caramel still hits the spot like it did years ago. Some things don’t change and I’m glad this little Mt Fuji is one :)
