A good book and yummy chai tea latte - I'm real picky with Chai Tea and this one is decent! Definitely ordering again next time I'm in the area. The cafe's a good place to read a book earlier in the morning and then gets bustling around noon, makes for great brunch atmosphere with friends then!

With an add-on of crisp hash hashbrowns! As good as when we last visited a good 3 years ago, standards remain consistent! Love the sautéed mushrooms and creamy scrambled eggs!

Waffles so crisp, that it is like over toasted bread. The fluffy inside is lacking. And the it does not have that buttery smell, that I yearn for. The bacon is substandard, very amateur cooking. The egg is runny not fluffy, but at least it's well season with salt. Thank goodness for friendly staff and cute simple interior. Especially good natural lighting from the ceiling glass. Charming for a nice conversation, but not enough to come back for seconds.

I would have enjoyed this more if it had a stronger coffee flavor, but it wasn't bad. Certainly is one of the prettiest flat whites I've had.

The Gene's Toast was a pleasant surprise. Buttery brioche toast is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Topped with as scoop of vanilla ice cream and bacon onion crumble, which is probably the highlight of the dish, adding in a tinge of savoury.
