Tsujiri Sundae ($11.80+) Had the Tsujiri Sundae ($10.80) which came with Yuzu Jelly, two mochi balls, a ball of red bean paste, and a scoop of ice cream - we chose Momo Sencha (+$1). Yuzu jelly was pretty tart and refreshing, contrasting well with the sweetness of the ice cream and red bean. But the sencha ice cream was just sweetness through and through, with barely a hint of sencha flavour. A disappointing dessert run.

Superb matcha gelato!! [TANJONG PAGAR, SINGAPORE] One look at the colour of this matcha gelato and you know it's gonna be good 🥹 I've always wanted to try this @tsujiri_sg gelato outlet as they have so many variations of matcha gelato 😍 I tried a couple of their matcha creations and this cup of Matcha Hazelnut ($5.50) won my heart. As a matcha, chocolate and nut lover, this was absolutely incredible. All 3 flavour profiles were prominent and so well complemented without being too rich! The matcha flavour is definitely decadent and so beautifully rich and nutty~ Can't wait for my next time here 😍 this is the perfect dessert shop to go right after having Korean BBQ just round the corner! Haemul Sundubu | $19 I initially thought that I could easily get something better at this price but for the price, this bowl of sundubu was chock full of ingredients - from tofu, to enoki, and to lots of seafood like clams, mussels, and prawns. This was more soup than stew, and I thought that it wasn’t really spicy or tangy, and hence at some moments even a bit bland. But it does the job of being a bowl of nice, warm, comforting soup, though I’m not sure if I would come back for sundubu again specially because I like mine more with that spicy, gochugaru kick. That being said, who doesn’t love a restaurant with nett prices and no GST? Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Tuna Mayo Kimbap | $13 Generous amount of tuna, pickles, carrots and radish rolled into a classic kimbap you’d so expect. Sure it doesn’t beat the prices you get in a Korean convenience store, but this was nice and comforting, and also so filling!! This roll was served at room temperature, though I prefer my kimbap on the warmer side. Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Char Kway Teow (SGD $3.50) @ Tanjong Pagar Fried Kway Teow. Formerly known as Katong (Peter) Fried Kway Teow Mee when it was operated by Peter Lim, this stall has been quietly serving for over 40 years (since 1980), and has its share of fans (and detractors). . It's said that their noodles are boiled in superior old hen stock rather than water, though I fail to taste how it translated into a more flavourful dish. . Tending towards the dry savoury version, and notably served with lime, this carries decent savoury salty sweet flavour, with just a mild smoky aroma. . Besides the default Chinese Teochew style, they offer a Malaysian Penang style (which is the most popular), and a premium version with added prawns. . . . Old School CKT Happen to visit this hawker centre during a weekday lunch and boy was it crowded! The wok Hei aroma coming from this CKT stall got me curious and I ordered plate. I must say that I found it quite good - in the healthy way. It wasn’t oily at all. They use a thinner version of Kway Teow - think Penang CKT. Just wish that it was a little more sinful. Where is that pork lard!!!

Yummy Fried Kway Teow! Happened to pass by tanjong pagar food centre one day and decided to try this stall out. Bought the Teo chew style (original) kway teow and Am pleasantly surprised by the quality. Ingredients used were fresh and it did not feel too greasy. Would definitely recommend if you’re near this area!

Celebrity Prawn Noodle One of the famous stall here hence decided to give it a try. Ordered their Celebrity Pork Rib Prawn Noodle ($6) as wanted to try their pork rib too. I like that the prawn is already cut for you hence able to eat easily. Pork Rib is good too. The soup broth is not typical prawn soup. It has more umami into it and I like it.

Al dente Noodle First time eating at this hawker centre so decided to give this wanton noodle ($4) a try. Char Siew is pretty standard, wanton is quite plump. I like that the noodle is al dente and the sauce is flavourful

Celebrities Big Prawn Noodle ($5.50) Located at #02-30. They gave like 3 big prawns. But note that it only has prawns and no fishcake or lean meat. They cut the prawns in half so it is easier to eat. Dont have to deshell. The soup was very flavourful but abit spicy. A good bowl of prawn mee.

Healthy The soup is very good! My recommendation for soup is tomato soup🍅Herbel chicken soup is very healthy If you are feeling a lack of vegetables, this restaurant could be one option for you🥗🤭
