Hidden in a quiet spot around the foodie areas like Amoy Street and Club Street lies a Thai restaurant called Royal Siam Cuisine.
Think gigantic plump prawns with glass noodles soaking up all the oomph flavours from the herbs and Thai spices. 🤤 The creamy tom yum soup (you can choose chicken, prawn, or seafood) is not for the faint-hearted; it sent fire down my throat to my tummy. Do go for it if you are into all that hot and spiciness!
There were hits and misses. While the moo ping hits all the right notes of sweet, savoury and tenderness, the fried prawn cake fell short of expectations - inside was just excessively mushy. 🫢 Also, the Thai milk teas were rather weak and lacked the distinct robust spiced taste.
