Join the queue at this food truck and you'll be led to one of the best rojak and cendol in town. Stick with the classic Rojak (from RM5), where julienned cucumber and turnip, fried beancurd, prawn and dough fritters are doused in a delicious sweet, spicy and nutty sauce. For more substance, follow Burppler Gia Horng Lee's lead and add on sotong and egg. For a perfect sidekick to that meal, get a bowl of Cendol (RM2) with creamy coconut milk and fragrant brown sugar.

A beautiful mess - rojak passembur served with or without sotong. The sweetness of the peanut sauce with the tinge of crunch is just The queue for this is about 10-15 minutes . Beside it is a vendor selling censol which can compliment the rojak under a hot day.

Having operated in the same spot for over 20 years, these guys are incredibly experienced, so it's no wonder their rendition of rojak is touted one of KL's best. Despite its sunny, streetside setting, the stall sees snaking queues every afternoon — you'd be wise to join the line for a quick, pocket-friendly lunch! Bring a colleague who doesn't mind roughing it out for good food. The rojak comes in several sizes, with options to add cuttlefish and egg for RM1 each. Go all out and get the one with the full works — after all, it's only RM6! The dish combining fried beancurd, prawn and dough fritters, julienned cucumber and turnip is slathered in an irresistible spicy nut sauce. It will be messily assembled, but delicious. For a perfect companion to your rojak lunch, order the Cendol (RM1.80) from the adjacent stall. It's simple but good, churned to refresh with a good balance between sweet palm sugar and rich coconut milk.
Avg price per person: RM10

Spot the crowd by the roadside along Jalan SS15/3B every afternoon to find Subang Jaya's favourite local dessert, cendol. For a budget afternoon respite, have this rich yet refreshing RM1.80 bowl. An Indian uncle works the whirring machine to churn chunks of finely shaved ice, as another tops it with palm sugar, coconut milk, red bean and the jelly-like green delights known as cendol. The streetside stall lacks proper seating but part of the charm here is enjoying your cendol among the many other standing patrons. In case you're hankering for more to munch on, there is scrumptious Rojak (RM4.50) worth joining the queue for and also, traditional Indian snacks — these light bites garner less fame than the former, but we guarantee they're just as good minus the queue! Get the spiced Onion Pakora (batter-fried onions, from RM2), an insanely addictive snack that you will keep reaching into the brown paper bag, as well as the tasty Dhal Vadai (dhal fritters, RM0.50 per piece).

This rojak stall in SS15 is a popular hit despite its long queues. A basic plate will cost RM4 — a portion big enough to be your lunch! You can also choose to add on eggs and cuttlefish for RM0.50 each. Locals love this rojak becuase all the components are always fresh and crispy, the sauce nutty and slightly spicy. Right next to the rojak section, you can marry your rojak with a refreshing bowl of cendol for only RM1.80! Take your cendol up a notch by adding glutinous rice for only an additional 20 cents — you'll be surprised how well it goes together.
