River Seafood Garden

Discovered this gem by accident en route to Sin Lee Foods and realizing it was closed. Came over to this other stall located at Blk 4 as well. It's a zichar restaurant and was also closing so they only had 菜饭to offer. I was pleasantly surprised first at the pricing of this plate of food that I chose - for 2 meat and 2 veg this would have cost 4+ in other hawker centres or even up to 5+ in food courts. However this only came up to $3.50. The food didn't disappoint either. The curry veg was strong and spicy and extremely tasty with the lemak taste of the curry and the soft texture of the cabbage. The cabbage on the side was as good as the curry veg. The ba chor and lor ba tasted like homecooked goodness. Perhaps the best food in Singapore can actually come cheap!
